First stayed here in the early 2000s and every now and then since. Have ALWAYS had a great time. The hotel is aging a little now but is spotlessly clean and well-maintained. The staff is excellent. Great breakfast buffet (although I admit the Okura Prestige is even better). The pool is gorgeous and gym is also really good. The hotel...

What a treat! We booked the afternoon tea buffet and it was well worth the trip. There was a fantastic selection of savoury votes to start, including Thai snacks, sushi and sandwiches. But the real centre piece is the sweet area. A beautiful range of cakes and treats as well as ice cream. The chef is waiting to create you...

We were there a few weeks ago and it was really good. The hotel itself is very nice and also the room we stayed in. The smell in our room when we just arrived was amazing and the cleaning was extremely good. All was spotless clean! Our bed was so comfortable, especially the pillows! They were one of the most...

The best thing about staying at the Sukhothai is not because of its spacious and delicately designed rooms or the charming staff serving you exquisite food 24 hrs a day, it's the peace and quite that hits you like a concrete wall when you enter the doors. The sleep you manage to get is second to none and you feel...

my compliment to hotel staff working at "Lobby salon" especially Boom who works delegently and attentively to provide excellent service to guests. Although the situation of choolate buffet was always very busy with so many guests, she could still show her best effort in delivering impressive dining expereince to guests. / from Kana

We come every year and each time we fall in love again with this place... and with the people that bring its timeless elegance alive: either at breakfast time -with Anchi, Sam, Breeze, young Eve, and of course queen bee Botan- or at the swimming pool with Mr. Big, who's adorable, their generosity and efficiency instills itself on every single...

The hotel transportation pick-up was luxurious and prompt. We had a lovely check-in in the suite and were ready to begin our stay! I was worried that the property would really show its age, and there are some parts of it where you can see it, but overall, the hotel really stands the test of time. The room was absolutely...

one word best to describe about this hotel...huge!!! ive never seen any standard room size like sukhothai offers...worlds class hospitality by the staff...i love it so much. the reason I couldnt give 5 star rating because: 1.the breakfast spread is not that great at all, very limited choice, though its very nice. 2.the gym is super small, i didnt enjoy...

Good room executive, large and comfortable, The room are design on old Thai fashion, wood floor and all with fabric. But the comfort and the size of the room gave you a nice stay. The garden is amazing in the middle of the town!. Not enough time to test the restaurant.

Staying in Sathorn

Neighbourhood Profile
Sathorn
Sathorn is Bangkok’s central business district, but here you’ll find much more than international banks and suited-up office workers. Take a stroll along the small alleys between the skyscrapers and you’ll find yourself among Bangkokians living life at a much slower pace. Feast on fantastic Thai food which you can find in the town-house restaurants, office food courts and sidewalk food stalls spread all over the area, especially around St. Louis Hospital. A visit to Sathorn is not complete without a drink at one of the glitzy sky bars perched atop its skyscrapers.
