This is my first time stay in here, the great hospitality impressed us from Tik at the moment we just arrived by taxi. Check-in was very smooth with a welcome letter from their Area GM at the reception, you can imagine how they care about service in this hotel. We arrived the room with another surprise, the super great &clean room with welcome amenities on the table, and..another letter from their Area GM, Mr. Pierre-Andre Pelletier specially hand writing for us. Wow...The location is very conveience, easy to get a taxi, and only 5 minutes walk to BTS or MRT. 2 stations to Siam. We didn't waste any time on the traffic during our holiday. We enjoyed sooooo much in here and we do definitely come back for this greatest hospitality. Thank you for all the staff, and thanks you Mr. Pierre. See you next time.…

We arrived as a group of 32 guests and were welcomed personally by the hotel management team. The hotel team handled a lot of individual requests and some unexpected changes with ease and smiles! From the prepared check-in where we only needed to sign, the delicious welcome drink, and the luggage service, the check-in was a delight. Even Covid tests were organized for us in advance and were ready at the hotel when we arrived. We were shown our well appointed meeting room for our start into the next day and the breakfast buffet area for the next morning. Our rooms were spacious, modern, and tastefully decorated. Fresh fruit and personal card awaited us upon entering. The bathroom was generous and the walk in shower and bath room a welcome retreat! Lines and towels were of high quality. The fully automated self-cleaning, toilet with an inbuild bidet function offered comfort mostly unknown to European hotels. The wonderful breakfast buffet was a delight the next morning. Coffee and tea were served at the tables, I enjoyed the Swiss style Bircher muesli and local fresh fruits every morning. Egg specialties were prepared fresh at the omelets bar by a skillful chef, waffles, pancakes and pastries were freshly baked on site as well. There were European style fresh breads that our group loved! For those with a savory tooth for breakfast there was a salad bar, noodle, rice, and vegetable dishes as well as steamed delicacies. All in all, the breakfast buffet was a highlight to start our days with! Every evening when we returned from our day, we were greeted with smiles, doors were opened for us, and we felt at home. We could not ask more and already look forward to our next visit!…
Magnificent Hotel, which has been fully refurbished, with a perfect location nearby Lumpini Park, Silom et Rama 4 road. But the best parts of the Hotel are: 1: the Service by the staff and Management' attention to every Clients to make their stay one if the most comfortable experience. 2:The room was amazing in term of space, quality and comfort 3 : the restaurants : multitude of choices of restaurants and food within the Hotel complex and around. If you are looking for a great stay in Bangkok, Montien is the right place.
Last month I stayed at the freshly renovated and newly refurbished Montiel Hotel Surawong Bangkok. The hotel originally opened in the late 1970‘ and was recently completely refurbished and now should be ready for the next 50 years. I stayed in a Junior Suite which was spacious, beautifully decorated, spotless clean, a huge bathroom with a walk-in shower and a separate toilet. The linen, sheets and towels were of super quality and felt very comfortable. There are plenty of outlets to charge your devices and the bedside alarm clock allows for wireless charging of your smart phone. The overall theme of the room and hotel is Thai inspired, but with a modern twist. My room had a very comfortable lounging chair which dates back to the ‘70, but was refurbished and upholstered and now looks like new and blends in very nicely with the overall design, look and feel. There are different restaurant and bistrots to choose from. I had breakfast, lunch and dinner in the hotel. The food was very tasteful, nicely presented and always served with a friendly and gentle smile. The main restaurant called ‘Ruenton’ and serves Thai/Chinese dishes in a retro modern style. On of their many signature dishes is the Chicken Rice. Then there is the Phar- Ram IV Bistro where I enjoyed a very nice Negroni. Here the food focuses more on European style dishes. The staff overall are extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. Nothings seems too much to ask and after a short period of time you really feel at home and at ease. The hotel is a short walk (approx. 10 min.) from the nearest BTS and subway station away and therefore is a perfect hotel to explore the sights of Bangkok and other points of interest. I can really recommend staying at this wonderful renovated and refurbished hotel.…
We stayed 2 times the last two months, first for the GM of an organisation, the 2 nd time for family meeting. Its not only for the famous chicken rice dish we stayed, but for the excellent location between skytrain and metro and next door access to the motorways. The staff is extraordinary friendly, mirroring the work and eyes of the ever present GM Pierre. After the complete renovation we believe the Montien has regained its old prestigious standing. It has become our home in Bkk.
Amazing hotel with caring service staff. Today 2 May we had the first buffet breakfast spread in the hotel. Enjoyed every food dished. GM Khun Pierre went out of his way to make sure that my family is comfortable and at home with the hotel.
I spent a night at the hotel after coming back from abroad because Thailand Pass requirements without much expectations of the hotel. However, my stay turned out to be an awesome experience. I knew this hotel for ages and have eaten their famous chicken rice several times but never once stayed at the hotel before. I stayed in Junior Suite room which the room is spacious! The bed was so comfy and larger than king size. Bathroom is separated from toilet (which I really really like it) have both showers and bathtub, good quality branded amenities are provided. I couldn’t have asked more for my stay.. it such a relaxing room that provides everything you needed. Recommend this hotel for your stay in Bangkok for all purposes from business to leisure. Location wise, subway and sky train are within a walking distance, easy to go everywhere either business district, shopping mall, royal palaces or temples.…
First stay since the extensive renovation - what a delight. From the warm staff through to the immense detail in finishings and of course the famous Montien Thai cuisine. The rooms are extra large compared to what you can normally find in Bangkok. The hotel now also has a classy pool and large fitness area. Definitely the landmark place to stay in Bangkok
Hotel is very nice and great service from front office staff, restaurant service staff and housekeeping. Overall is perfect stay at this hotel. Food is very delicious and drink is also good. Hope to have a chance to revisit again.
