Perfectly clean with everything you need but too big, too corporate and faceless. The breakfast is just silly - two huge buffet rooms with every food imaginable where guests wander round in bemusement loading up their plates with things they don't really want to eat. Oh and everywhere smells of cigarettes. There must be more atmospheric places to stay in...

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and it was by far the best hotel we have ever stayed in. The suites were huge with a master and ensuite, sitting room, dining room, lounge room, kitchen and a second bathroom and also included a washing machine/dryer. We booked a package which included bed and breakfast, free upgrade, roundtrip airport...

After sleeping in the ice cold lobby for about 2 hours (we arrived at 9 am), we received a room on the 22nd floor, you could open the window but the noise from the street is unbearable. The sink in the bath did not work, no one came to fix it. Walls in between rooms are so badly isolated that...

We have had the pleasure of staying in Lebua three times in three different years. Compared to other places in the world there is no doubt that a 5/5 rating is appropriate, but service quality has actually decreased over time. If the hotel is booked out (or close to it), you see them struggeling to keep up their service levels...

The hotel is luxurous in most senses but some notable exeptions 1. Very small pool with small numbers of sunchairs 2. Food in poolarea not tasteful och slow service 3. Concierge people as interested to answer phonecall as to serve us at the disk. Our need to get advise was intrerrupted to oftten by the phone 4. Although we had...

We stayed at the Lebua for three nights for our honeymoon....We were very impressed...We stayed in a tower suite, which was gorgeous!! The bed was ultra comfy and the room was warm and cosy (home from home) We went to the sky bar, which was an amazing experience. We ate in Scirocco which we found extremely expensive.....we only ate two...

We had a great xmas at this fab hotel. Loved the neighbourhood itself, great little local cafes, tons of spas and services that we were looking for ie laundry, dentist etc. Easy too to walk to nice restaurants and to the river. Our teens loved the mazing skybar-yes expensive but views like no other. Our suites were huge and extremely...

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
