An awesome experience at the J.W. Marriott in Bangkok. I was amazed at the one in Dubai, but apparently all the JW Marriott Hotels, seem to be the same. The staff is genuine, helpful, friendly, attentive, and the treatment and service is beyond exceptional.
Navigating this amazing city is not easy, where you should go and what you should do is tough to determine and so is what you should not do. Trusting online reviews is not always the smartest thing because everybody has different standards and expectations. I...More
From the moment we stepped foot out of the car the service was top of the line until the day we left. WOW!! What a hotel. You walk inside the hotel lobby you know this is a top notch place full of all the amenities...More
I recently traveled to Bangkok for a 10 business trip and stayed at the J.W. Marriott. Without exception, their entire staff is focused on outstanding customer service. Whether it is from the concierge team, the doormen, the front desk, the phone helpdesk, the laundry staff,...More

With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's
hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.

I used the metered Taxi from the airport. Depends on time and traffic, but cost is normally between 800 and 1000 THB. You can order a Luxury Limo in arrivals hall, but they are at least double the metered Taxi.
