Here is my experience with Arawana Hotel during long term stay ( over 30 days). The first important thing is a great location. Access to all possible services such as Family Mart ( right next to the entrance ), Makro supermarket , pharmacies , bars or spa they are all located at the same street. Emporium is 5 minutes by walk same as Phram Phong sky metro station and on the opposite direction you will find very close Sukhumvit station and 21 Terminal Mall. I am very impressed by kindness of all the staff working in the hotel , they always welcome you with smile on the face. Manager is very friendly person and at the same time professional making sure about your well-being during the stay. Room service was available every day to switch the towels or to offer you a new water. Here is what I didn’t like as list is much more longer…The noisy constructions from the building next to the hotel (started in beginning of March) made completely impossible to rest on the rooftops’s swimming pool and sometimes even disturb guests from the room. I have chosen the biggest deluxe room which was very specious , with large king size bed but that’s all good what I can say about that choice. The smell since I entered made me think that nobody stayed there for months. All furnitures are simply old and their ventilation system is not good enough to get rid of specific smell. Don’t expect any modern design as entire building would need some renovations in the end. Next thing I didn’t like was their shower design .The water run out around whole bathroom. Another thing I couldn’t handle was their ” laundry system " located on the 1st floor which costs 40BHT btw. to use. So messy and dirty with water everywhere. There is also no simple things such as iron in the hotel service or electric socket near to your bed. WARNING IMPORTANT there is a very dangerous lamp under the pillows which can cause a serious damage to your head if you don’t pay attention enough or choose to sleep on that side …I avoid it but I did heat few times my head with this metal thing. Hotel should immediately remove that or place it more higher before it will cost some serious damage to anybody. To resume all I will not lie that it was a good price that brought me that but after I stayed there so long I completely understand why cost was so low for that time. I will not choose it for my stayed again in Bangkok. Hope some things will get fixed for their future guests. Good luck to all.

Awful hotel I have travel extensively in Thailand and stayed in 20 plus 4star hotels, along with both higher and lower classed hotels and private villa’s etc. My observation are that this is far below the expectations of a supposedly 4 star hotel for this country. I have certainly stayed in better youth hostels, than the Arawana Regency. The photos on the official website for the Arawana are nothing more than a misrepresentation. They do not show the shabbiness of the actual room and must have been take many years ago. There are much better hotels close by which are spotlessly clean and live up to a genuine 4 star status. (Also, closer to the sky train). Overall, the Arawana is tired and if you wish to stay in a 4 star hotel, then I would avoid!

Rooms do not look like they are portrayed on there websites. They are very old, broken and dirty. We checked out. The manager didn’t seem to bothered we were not happy. No restaurant facilities available either. Not that it mattered as we wouldn’t have wanted to eat anyway.

All staff have been really great Nuchy,Kie,patty and tao. During a very stressful time they have provided great service and a very comfortable stay. Also the hotel is located in a very convenient location near everything. Even during a partial lockdown of the city the hotel staff maintained a comfortable environment for us.

After long travels through Asia I stopped over in Bangkok on my way home. I am so thankful I chose this hotel - it was easy to get around as the train stations are with in a short walking distance. There are cabs waiting at your door to take you pretty much anywhere. I would very much like to thank the amazing staff Nicky, Kie, Patty and Anny for everything and for making my stay so wonderful. A no extra late check out fee and the organization of a cab to the airport was absolutely no trouble for these beautiful ladies. When traveling to Bangkok - these rooms and facilities consisting of pool with a view of the city, a sauna and well as a gym are more than perfect considering the more than reasonable price includes access to everything. Oh and t breakfast is so amazing too Well fed and ready to explore the city.

As we arrived in the resort, i was fascinated by the structure of the lobby. The male front desk staff particularly Mr. Peace checked us in and gave some tips where to roam around Bkk. The only thing is the wifi connection, as well as the bed, is quite hard for me, maybe I am just used to lay down and sleep in a soft bed but that’s ok. Breakfast was ok as well, the staff in the egg station was great! He always smile and greet us everytime. Overall, it was a good stay!
