Undoubtedly, the location next to rama9 mrt station is the no1 reason to stay here. Is near to jodd fair night market which is the new train market and plenty of local street food behind the hotel and huge shopping malls with everything you need. The staff are helpful and price is very reasonable. The con been the cleanliness of the room, older rooms smell of smoke so please ask to change and very noisy, new rooms at high floors do not have such problem. The bath robe and slippers have stains on them so ask to replace them should you wish to use them. Last con will be the traffic, buffer additional 15mins of traveling time from the hotel door to wherever you need to go, otherwise tip is to book a grab from The Central mall side as that will save time from trying to reach you and still need to make a u-turn to go city or airport.…
Very good and nice service for test and go Booking and fast test report nice and clean room and good food for room service relaxing with on zen and swimming pool safe and private thank you for all staff work hard 👍👏at grand fortune hotel Bangkok
I had a short stay at Grand Mercure Bangkok Fortune. Only two floors of the hotel were open so it limited room types available including suites. I booked the entry level room and was upgraded as Accor Diamond guest to a junior suite. While the room was not completely new, I did not think it was overly dated either particularly the bedroom itself which was decent and no carpet so that was a plus because I like to avoid carpet in older hotels. It was rather the bathroom which was the weak point, it was not only very small, but also it was older than the rest of the room, had a shower in the bathtub which I dislike, and strangely the faucet was so close to the edge of the sink that it was hard to wash my hands. In addition, I wish air conditioning was stronger, I used maximum speed and minimum temperature but the room remained a bit warmer than I would like. While the room had some drawbacks, the hotel made up for it with good service. I thought the explanations about the room types and giving me the choice of which room I preferred was handled well at check-in, also for the drinks vouchers some hotels do not allow alcohol because of the government ban but they agreed to bring me two glasses of wine to my room as an alternative which was appreciated. Diamond guests also receive two pieces of free laundry per day which is not so common in Bangkok, in fact many far more luxurious hotels do not offer this perk. The lounge was closed but as a replacement they offered a small food tray at the bar near reception for happy hour between 5:30-7:30pm. Breakfast was served in the room as a covid precaution; the menu was limited but they had a rice dish and a noodle dish which were both quite good. Overall this property is a solid choice for people who want a full service hotel at a modest price. The compromise to make is that the suites are not that big and not the most modern hardware in the city.…
Hotel is good promotion. Dim Sum is very good taste and wonderful. Room is comfortable stay. Staff service is helpful and hope to have a chance to revisit again in near future. Waiting for swimming pool and onsen reopen
Every time I visit Bangkok, Mercure Fortune hotel is always my favorite. Fast check-in with quality staff (Thanks K. Ning and K. Mew for assisting me with check-in). Also, a welcome drink for Accor member made me feel re-fresh after a one hour flight and a ride (through heavy traffic) to the center of the city. Room was clean as always. I also had a dinner with my old friends at Nan Yuan Chinese restaurant (2nd floor), the food was tasty with my favorite Peking duck dish. The staff was polite and service-minded. Since I had no time for breakfast, the hotel staff offered me a breakfast box and a cup of hot coffee to go !!! Concierge service was wonderful. Thanks K. Chut and Sawat who took care of my bags and helped me with checking-out. Really a pleasant stay!
Since i was enjoying my weekend stay, i was every night in the bar to have some relaxing time, the personal are very friendly and nice. Like Miss Chitchamai, and Miss Supharhada (Khan Miao). I have a very nice Happy hour time. Highly recommended to every one..
Hotel locate near 2 large shopping malls and MRT station, So there are many shop, stores and restaurant to provided lots of options for lunch and dinner. The hotel itself is nice. Not many guest stay during this time. As an ALL member and reserved a junior suite, the hotel upgrade us to executive suite room, which is nice. The room is spacious, clean and functional. There is no afternoon tea but the minibar items are complementary for executive room/suite which is very nice. The evening lounge is good. Food is good. Staffs are friendly and welcoming. Overall, the experience for this stay is nice. Still there are many issues that the hotel should improve to make it better. Some of the area in the hotel are dusty and smell. Such as one of the 1 seat sofa in the bar on the ground floor that smell quite nasty and also lot of mosquitos in the lounge. The glass door in the bath room is leak, this should be fixed. Breakfast was great and on time on my first 2 days, but for the third morning - we have to wait for breakfast around 45 minutes. The corridor and lobby smell moldy - need some refreshment. Anyway the experience is still ok, I will consider stay at the hotel again but improvement on mentioned above would highly help make the hotel a lot better.…
I was there for 1 night staycation and had a dimsum dinner at Nanyuan. All employees from the guard, bellman, receptionist at the concierge and the manager and workers at the restaurant are professional and service-oriented. The hotel is very well maintained and very clean. Breakfast is non buffet but to allow the guests to select the menu due to the measure to prevent the spread of disease. The building is just next to MRT station and IT mall called “Fortune town.” There are many things to explore and purchase if you are into IT gadgets, stereos and games, also there are a large variety of restaurants to choose from at G floor. Personally, I’d definitely recommend this hotel, mainly because of the way how the employees treated the customers. Thank you for the memorable experience. Keep up the good work! ;) …
There are male and female onsens in the hotel but my room has No bathtub. I choose this hotel because of membership of accor plus. Stay here and can Walk to central Plaza Rama9 and Fortune department store.
