Having done a 26 hour door to door flight into Bangkok, arriving earlier than the check in time....the staff were extremely accommodating to let me check in early. Having found a slight issue with the room, it was immediately dealt with, was kindly upgraded to a club suite. The suite itself was clean, immaculate and well stocked. Room service menu was extensive and delicious (order Thai food only). Had dinner at the restaurant, which again exceeded my expectations, they catered to my finicky friend's food preferences. Brilliant food. Breakfast was a spread and fantastic, staff very attentive. I must give credit to Mr Neik Hammer, the general manager, who personally interacted with the guests at the club lounge. Secondly, I did see Mr Hammer, personally working at the restaurant during my breakfast, that usually does not happen. I do travel, stay in hotels over 180 days a year, BUT have never seem a GM so involved. Well done Mr Hammer, I see why Okura is so lovely!! Highly recommended hotel, great staff and wonderful attentive service.

The Okura Prestige Bangkok is a sophisticated sanctuary offering refined luxury to discerning travelers. It provides a sublime feeling of being in a cozy eagle's nest high above bustling Bangkok. Wow, where should I start :) After many years of not travelling besides of smaller trips in Europe due to Covid I finally went on a longer trip to Thailand. During my vacation I had the privilege to stay twice at this refined hotel. Reason I picked this hotel was due to my fantastic experiences in the past when I was their valued guest before the pandemic. I could not have been happier with my choice to stay at this fantastic property again. It felt like arriving at home from the moment I stepped out of the cab, smelling their fresh signature room scent, seeing their friendly welcoming faces and having a flawless and efficient check in process in their impressive lobby on the 24th floor. This refined luxury hotel is still in excellent condition like on day one when it opened 10 years ago and the service was second to none. The whole experience was outstanding and it's remarkable how this proud member of the exclusive Leading Hotels of the World easily outperforms newer 5 star hoteIs in Bangkok like the Park Hyatt and Rosewood which are both just next door. I stayed at both of them and the quality of used materials in the rooms and public spaces, the food, the friendliness and professionalism of the staff are at the Okura simply superior. The quality of the infrastructure, facilities and hospitality services was equally impressive. On my first stay I stayed for 4 nights in my preferred Corner Deluxe Room. This room has a fantastic layout and I love the spectacular view and the daylight which comes in by having huge windows on two sides. The minimalistic Japanese inspired design and the high quality materials make this room absolutely timeless and classy. It just shows how far ahead they were when they designed this room few years ago as it easily passes the test of time. Best room layout I've ever stayed in! On my second stay I received a well appreciated upgrade from the General Manager to a Corner Deluxe Suite with generous 80 m2 due to my patronage over many years. This suite was absolutely sublime and I had a fantastic sleeping quality. In the bathroom there were even more luxurious products and there was an Illy coffee machine instead of a Nespresso machine. Great layout too, but for me as solo traveller almost too big :) During both of my stays I had excellent dinners and breakfast at their generous western buffet with a wide range of high quality food options ranging from fresh fruits, yoghurt, bread, pastries, muesli, fresh juices, egg station, noodle station, meat, cheese, sushi, fish, dumplings, various hot dishes, desserts, etc. as well as their à la carte Japanese breakfast option which was great too. With a hotel running a Michelin star restaurant you cannot go wrong with the food they're offering :-) I've also treated myself to Sunday brunch which had an impressive range of sea food such as lobsters, oysters, crabs, shellfish, king prawns and other delicacies like foie gras, etc. which were all of the highest quality. I particularly liked their incredible infinity pool with salt water situated on the 25th floor which was open from 6am - 10pm offering breathtaking views, their fully equipped gym, the sauna and steam room which I used every day. Both stays were absolute perfection and I cannot recommend this great hotel high enough! Many thanks to Mr. Niek Hammer and the entire crew for this fantastic experience! Pros: - Every room has a great view as the hotel lobby is on the 24th floor and the rooms are located on the floors 26-32 - Timeless, classy and minimalistic design with refined luxury and high quality materials such as marble, stones, wood, super soft bed linens, etc. - Service is second to none, always professional, friendly, and efficient - Great laundry and pressing service - Incredible infinity pool on a cantilever on the 25th floor allowing to have epic night swims with spectacular views (open from 6am to 10pm) - Perfectly equipped gym, sauna, steam room, showers with city views and great spa facilities - World class dining options (1 Michelin star restaurant at Elements, Asian and Western cuisine at Up & Above restaurant and Japanese fine dining including Teppanyaki at Yamazato restaurant) - Best location in the city (direct connection to BTS Phloen Chit and convenient short walking distance via covered BTS escalators to the famous luxury shopping mall Central Embassy) - The connection to the public area of the ground floor is very convenient as there is a Patisserie, Dean&DeLuca, 7-Eleven, pharmacy, sushi restaurants, hair dresser, etc. - The iconic Park Ventures building where this hotel is nestled in the top floors is very modern and of remarkable infrastructure housing the most prestigious office spaces underneath the hotel floors which are rented by Google, Richemont Group, etc. to name a few. Cons: - Very tricky to find something... And if you would find something they'll be able to fix it. Incredible team and you can tell that they are all treated well to perform on such a high level with this tremendous consistency.

Ocura team, thanks a lot for my pleasant stay within 1 week with you. I'm experienced traveler who has seen a lot of hotels. The Ocura seems like is "All inclusive" reach hotel. Helpful and attentive staff. Early check in free of charge. Perfect bed and beddings. Clean and no smell. Complementary fruits in the room during your stay. Rich breakfasts at 3 restaurants by your choice. Tea, drinks, snacks during the day. It's not just snacks, it's close to a full dinner with alcohol drinks... Next to MBT station. Nothing to wish more.

I would give more than 5 stars if the website allows me. My experience in Okura has been immaculate. I have never known this hotel chain until it was recommended by my colleagues. The service was top notch from the moment i checked in. Huge room with great service (they clean up twice a day i think), breakfast was the best i ever had in a hotel. I would totally stay there again in my future visits to Bangkok. Highly recommended.
