I liked Loog Choob so much I stayed again on my way back home. The spot is clean. The staff are wonderful. There are delicious restaurants and markets nearby. The staff give you everything you could possibly need. The room was spotless, spacious, and comfortable. I'd definitely stay there again.

My husband and I stayed only 1 night but will stay longer next time we are in Bangkok. To add to other reviews - location is quiet but walking distance to a few sites, very good street food at the corner at night, amazing design, sweet and helpful family, small kitchen with some free staples to use, on a small...

we really enjoyed the Loog Choob Homestay and I loved the decoration!! The owner is really welcoming and smiling (even if at 3 am when we arrived! ). The only hic for us was the breakfast do-it-yourself, but then again we had fresh pastries and bread every single day. (ps: it's not in the modern part of Bangkok, but more...

PERFECT, that's all we need to say. The location is near by two nice little markets where we had some great authentic food. The Homestay is located quiet central but not too crowded, by foot we could reach everything we wanted. We always felt like coming home, the rooms are clean and very classy. The host, her name is "Su"...

We stayed at Loog Choob Homestay for a few nights, as part of a 2+ week adventure in Thailand. Wonderful and quiet area/street of Bangkok, great location with 30-45 walking distance to popular tourist attractions and temples. Of course, you can always grab a taxi or tuk-tuk. There is a canal out front, that has a free boat for getting...

Staying in Dusit

Neighbourhood Profile
Dusit
When wandering around the Dusit Palace grounds, you'd almost forget you're still in a Southeast-Asian city. The Renaissance-style buildings and leafy gardens wouldn't be out of place in an European capital, and the serenity here is in stark contrast with the chaotic city life outside of its complex walls. Dusit is one of Bangkok's oldest districts, and while the rest of Bangkok is modernising at a rapid pace, Dusit seems to have stood the test of time. Come here to find family businesses in traditional shophouses, small-scale local markets and streets unfazed by modern city life.
