Hotel is not the newest kid on the block, but it has what's need for a quality stay for very reasonable price. Rooms are very big indeed, most of them don't have nice views though. Location is quite convenient, within walking distance to metro. Breakfast is basic, but sufficient. All in all, quite a good option to stay around Asoke.

We booked this hotel, as we needed something long-term (month), not too far from Bumrunrad Hospital and with a little kitchen. We struck the jackpot. This hotel is mid-priced, very worth the cost. Very spacious junior suite. My husband and I had plenty of room. Wrap-around balcony off bedroom and living room. Staff absolutely wonderful - very helpful. Thai breakfast...

Hotel is very good. I stayed in 2 rooms, first 4 nights in 2 bed rooms type and the last 4 nights in studio type. Family and some friends were very happy with the hotel (tidy, clean, and warm staff). I like the song in Restaurant during breakfast and definitely good service especially from my friend, Michael, staff in Restaurant....

Stayed here for the second time. Quiet as off the main road (down a short alleyway). Near to the water taxi which is cheap and fast. And 1.5 miles from lively Nana area. Coffee shop where you eat breakfast is great. Waiter Michael (from the Philippines) is particularly helpful and speaks good English. Our only complaint was the noisy air...

Very nice hotel. We found out that it was very nice and Quick to go into town using the chanelboat. Good service at the hotel. Smal pool but okej for cooling down. It was a little bit hard for the taxi driver to find the hotel.

A friend recently used the following words to chastise rude staff at another establishment: "Whether it's a 5 star or a two star hotel, it is the staff that leave the impression and make the experience what it is." And she couldn't be more right. At Asoke Residence Sukhumvit, the staff make you feel like a 5 star guest. They...

We checked out of Evergreen Place (where we would've loved to stay on but they were fully booked) after our trip unexpectedly got extended and checked in here, thinking since it is a sister hotel of Evergreen Place, it would be somewhat on par with Evergreen. It was much older and worn down and not well maintained. The elevator seemed...

This hotel is not really a 4 star hotel, as many other 4 star hotels in Bangkok. The rooms are very old, there is almost no water in the shower. We had a lamp, that was very dangerous to turn of, since the switch off botton was electric. The toilets are really smelly. Not really a good experience.

... But still ok. More a longer-term residence than a hotel. Breakfast not worth the money, rooms have all the necessary utensils to prepare your own meals. A nice extra conenience is the choice of DVDs at the reception.

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
