I rate 5 out of 5 for my stay in this hotel. I decided to book this hotel after reading positive reviews. Now I have proven my self that the hotel services and the room are world-class, so convenient and comfortable. The soundproof of the room made me enjoyed so much my long uninterrupted sleep.
Staff were so friendly and I felt so welcomed during my stay. The staff in the reception were so friendly. A staff in the reception by the name of Mark was so friendly and very helpful. He speaks very fluent English and shared with me update on COVID-19 situation in Thailand and answered any questions I had. My room was cleaned on daily basis with toiletries provided.
The wifi was great and the flat TV screen was also awesome for some entertainment.
The location of the hotel is central and close to lots of restaurant and shopping center. Pratunam Mall is adjacent with the hotel, Pratunam Floating Market is just opposite of the hotel, Central World, Siam Paragon, and MBK are just walking distance. These shopping center just a few and there are still others that I don’t remember their names that are also walking distance.
The price per day is also much cheaper if I compare with some hotel in developing countries like Timor-Leste and Indonesia with the same quality of facilities, services and let alone the central location. The price per day is also even cheaper than some hotel in developed country like Australia with the same quality of facilities, services and location.
I would highly recommend anyone to stay in this hotel when you visit Bangkok.

We stayed two nights as a stopover before heading to Koh Samui.
We've been to Bangkok many times before so we don't generally sightsee or shop (though I always make a beeline for Chatuchak market on a weekend), but the location of this hotel really can't be beat.
It is very close to Central World, Pratunam shopping centre and BTS/Skytrain stations. There are lots of street stalls to eat at and it's close to a michelin bib starred chicken rice eatery: @GoangChickenRicePratunam. There is a lively night market so there is something for just about everyone.
We did eat at the seafood buffet one night - wasn't bad. The buffet breakfast had a very good selection of asian and western dishes,
The pool is on a higher floor and is fairly small. We were in a standard room which was perfectly comfortable for a couple of nights but you might consider a bigger room if you stay longer, just so you can spread out more.
Staff were pleasant and courteous throughout.

Recently we stayed for 4 nights in Novotel Bangkok. The hotel has the best location, connected to the Platinum shopping centre, and within walking distance to other shopping centres, i.e. Isetan, Central world, Market, Gaysorn, BIG etc. There is also free shuttle to Siam Paragon, which is actually still within walking distance. Just across the road there is the famous Kuang Heng Pratunam chicken rice and a lot of other local foods. The water taxi to go to some BTS station is very near and we can also walk thru to the BTS station thru some malls from the 2nd floor. The service of the hotel is very good, the room is clean and has all that we need. There is also a tour desk in the 6th floor, easy to book tours. Overall we have a very wonderful holiday while we stayed in Novotel Platinum.

If you're for a really comfy bed this is the place for you!
If you're looking forward to a wonderful breakfast you'll be disappointed.
If you're hoping to enjoy the benefits of the executive wing don't do it! It's just not worth the money. I booked 2 rooms on the executive floor hoping to simply unwind and enjoy but alas, with only 2 different "snacks" to choose from (both of which were very cold!) and a limited stock of drinks and an uninviting area (very small & cramped I might add) it was such a disappointment we never went back to the lounge.
The real plus, though, on the executive floor were our rooms (both corner rooms)! They were spacious and the bathroom had a his & hers basin, a bathtub, a seperate shower room and a separate toilet.
If you're simply wanting to enjoy the executive wing and don't care about the executive lounge then go ahead and book it. I wouldn't. Simply because I don't think it's worth the extra money.

I stayed 4 days in this hotel, location, night view and the pool is great and worth for money. I really wonder why the room rate is so low until I had lunch and breakfast in their cafe. Hot food is not hot, cold food is not cold, shortage and unprofessional of kitchen staffs. The staff "allow" to eat in front of the guests, no body working in the so called live station. F.O. also a classic, the staff can ignore me when I complained that my room still not cleaned after 3 hours out. Anyway, if you will not purchase the F & B, it still OK.

I booked a premier room for four nights there. I had a great experience there.
This time I come to Bangkok for celebrating my wedding anniversary. Staff well prepared the room for us by decorating with two towel-swan before we arrive. I did mention I will come for celebration, but only for booking the dinner buffet. Unexpextedly, the hotel also prepared the lovely decorated room for us. The room also attached the premier room benefit which included the food credit per night and also the free laundry. These are the add-value services for me!
For the location, there is a night market closed to the hotel. Some local shopping malls and luxury shopping malls around. All are within several minutes walking distance. Even if you would like to go to Siam, it is very easy too! Just passing throuhg Central World and walk for another 5-10minutes, you will arrive there easily. All walkways are either footbridge or shopping malls, except you have to walk with no cover from the walkway to Isetan.

This hotel is fabulous and the staff is amazing!
The location of Novotel is awesome right next to Platinum mall and is connected to the new wing/annex of Platinum mall.
Very nice toilet with separate shower and toilet. Room was comfortable and relaxing, also dim with the limited lighting points giving dim lights.
Beds are fluffy and nice.
No problems with the reception desk and the staff are very helpful especially Mr. Mark who always ask us if we need anything. Kudos to Mr. Mark for his excellent job.
The pool and gym looks good too!
I would definitely be back again!

Positioned strategically near the Platinum Fashion Mall, this hotel boasts a prime location that will delight shopping enthusiasts, being only a stone's throw away from Central Mall. Despite my suggestions, based on over two decades of Facility Management experience, for dealing with the persistent cigarette smell in one of the suites, no permanent solution was provided, which unfortunately soured the stay.

Leon and Nancy looked after us handsomely! We had the 2hr free flow of drinks deal for 499 baht and drink a forgotten amount of Singha beer and very drinkable white wine. The resultant munchies meant we also had the chicken satay, trio of fries and the house nachos.

Our family of 4 stayed 5 nights at this hotel in July 2022. Our room had a big, comfortable bed with nice pillows. The kids had a bunk bed in the same room. They even put some cute plushies in the room for the kids to enjoy. We were on the 22nd floor and it was very quiet. We slept well each night. The bathroom had a nice walk-in shower with a big shower head. There was plenty of hot water. The room was kept very clean by the kind maid who we saw each day. We did not prepay for breakfast as those things are often hit and miss, however we tried their buffet on the first morning of our visit and found the food to be good. The price we paid was 350 baht per adults. Kids were free. We ended up eating breakfast there each morning as we did not find anything better. I’d say it was worth the price. The front desk staff was kind and helpful. One bit of confusion was the email they sent me said I had paid for the visit in advance and nothing was due at the hotel. I was charged for the full bill at checkout. I checked my credit card and no previous charge had been made for the hotel so I don’t think I was double charged. It was just some sort of confusion. Just check your card to make sure for yourself. One tip I would suggest if you need laundry done is to not use the hotel laundry service as it is it way overpriced. I asked the front desk about alternatives and they suggested the place they send all the laundry to (Finish Laundry). While I had to delivery my own laundry it was well worth it as they only charged 10 Baht per piece and did a good job. The pool is a bit on the small side, but the water was cool and will give you a break from the heat. I have no complaints about this hotel. I would stay again and I would recommend it to others. My wife loved the easy access to the Platinum Fashion Mall. Good for families staying in the area. Quiet and peaceful in an otherwise busy area.

Slippers that have been disinfected are provided. Not the disposable type. You may bring your own if you are a bit fussy like me, I bring my own. Regards.
