POSITIVES – Central location (2 mins walk from Nana BTS station) , cheap with all basic amenities. NEGATIVES – No lift, you get what you pay for. SUMMARY – Overall I was pleased to use the hotel as a very cheap bolt hole for a short while. DETAILS I stayed for about 6 hours (not overnight) in March 2015. Excluding...

The location is the only thing this place has got going for it as it is across the road from Soi 11. I know you can't blame the hotel but it's extremely noisy with people coming in at all hours slamming doors and drunk, doesn't help the whole place is tiled. There are many other hotels in the area so...

This hotel is a budget hotel for the area. I paid around 950baht for one night. It is central to Nana district and BTS. I stay in Bangkok, but wanted a change and life more centrally. We checked in around 8pm after booking online that day. I had wanted a hotel with breakfast included but it proved hard to find...

Certainly its in a perfect location, only 2 mins walk from Nana Skytrain and right in the heart of Sukumveit. Its a pretty reasonable budget hotel, rooms are small & no windows, so only suitable for a short stay, say a couple of nights, beds are comfortable. Limited international channels on TV. Staff are very friendly and helpful. No lift....so...

I regularly stay with the Compass Group as (in the past) they have delivered good quality facilities at reasonable prices. They should remove this hotel from their portfolio! Thankfully, I only booked here for two days. My room was very small, dingy with no windows and looked like it needed a good clean. The towels were GREY. There was no...

The best part in staying at this hotel was checking out. I only stayed here for 1 night & I tried to spend as little time in the room as possible during my brief stay. I stayed in this hotel & like others have stated the photos on the internet make the rooms look ok. But in reality they are...

As a patron of Compass Hospitality in the past this hotel was a mess! Located very well on Soi 8 on Sukhumvit and next to the Nana station, makes it a convenient place. But the service was terrible. The rooms were miniscule and had no windows. The hotel has no lift and goes upto 5 floors giving good exercise to...

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
