We booked this hotel just for one night, because we had a late flight and arrived in Bangkok after midnight. The taxi driver we took from the airport could hardly find this small hotel in a hidden street, actually near Sathorn BTS station. However, the receptionist had three attempts to give us our correct room. We received twice the card... More

The location is not very good. But you can reach Surasak BTS station by 10 minutes walk. The hotel was not clean. Actually the shower was broken and we had to hold it with one hand and use the other hand to clean.the break fast was the same for one week that we were there. If you travel in a... More

Pros: Large room for the cost, it was a very spacious 36 sqm. One of the largest room we have gotten for a less than USD50 per night. Breakfast selection was extensive, catered to both Asian & Western tastes. 10-15 min Walking distance to Surasak BTS. (although it is a bit challenging, read on to find out.) Cons: Rooms look... I really enjoyed my stay here. First time ever in Asia and I stayed here my first two nights. The room was modern and clean. Service friendly. Room service was good. The location seems kind of sketchy and not somewhere you really want to walk alone at night, but we never had any issues. It is definitely out of the... More

Stayed here a number of times, can be a little hit and miss but generally I enjoy this place, here are the pros and cons. Only stayed for a night but was a nice spot for those on a budget (other teachers perhaps?). Room was comfortable, with nice beds and a warm shower. No hairdryer though, for those in need of one. Staff was nice, especially Sunday, the tuktuk driver. They were cleaning the pool the time we wanted to go swimming unfortunately but it... More

This hotel was booked for me by my agency for my first few nights, when I flew to Thailand to work. It's more or less an average hotel. Nice rooms --big, clean, etc. Not fancy, but solid. Buffet was the same, decent. Try the funky coloured juice --it's great! They also have a full massage menu, and a masseuse will... More

Staying in Sathorn

Neighbourhood Profile
Sathorn
Sathorn is Bangkok’s central business district, but here you’ll find much more than international banks and suited-up office workers. Take a stroll along the small alleys between the skyscrapers and you’ll find yourself among Bangkokians living life at a much slower pace. Feast on fantastic Thai food which you can find in the town-house restaurants, office food courts and sidewalk food stalls spread all over the area, especially around St. Louis Hospital. A visit to Sathorn is not complete without a drink at one of the glitzy sky bars perched atop its skyscrapers.
