Terrible hotel. The attitude shown by the frontline check-in staff was the worst I've seen. When I was going to check-in, she pulled a long and glum face for no reason. Then, my mom requested, if possible, for the rooms to be on the same floor and near to each other as we had booked 3 rooms. The staff replied,...

I guess this Was a great hotel years ago, but nowadays the hotel is old, lacks mantainance and the service is not good at all. We even had go directly to get toilet paper cause there wasn't any in the room. The air conditioner Was really noisy. It's a shame cause there's a lot of potential and it's quite close...

We had to argue with them for like an hour to let us switch rooms to one that could get one bar of wifi signal. They lied and said the rooms were full until we showed them on a travel website that rooms were still available for booking. Breakfast was also the most tasteless thing I've ever eaten. Would not...

I have to say that I did not choose this hotel, I was sent here because the one I booked was oversold. Let's start with the smell: the lobby smells like a wet dog, the elevator like an old cushion and the room has that smell of humidity that is disgusting the whole time. Location, close to a station but...

This is my 3rd trip in 3 years to Thailand and to this hotel, staying 2 1/2 weeks. As a somewhat sophisticated traveler who has been to this hotel and Bangkok, I took the train link from the airport to the BTS station where I got off at Siam and switched train for Chong Nonsi station. There, I went to...

Staying in Sathorn

Neighbourhood Profile
Sathorn
Sathorn is Bangkok’s central business district, but here you’ll find much more than international banks and suited-up office workers. Take a stroll along the small alleys between the skyscrapers and you’ll find yourself among Bangkokians living life at a much slower pace. Feast on fantastic Thai food which you can find in the town-house restaurants, office food courts and sidewalk food stalls spread all over the area, especially around St. Louis Hospital. A visit to Sathorn is not complete without a drink at one of the glitzy sky bars perched atop its skyscrapers.
