The price was cheap for what you get, even that prices are kind of that way in Thailand. Is in the middle of Khaosan Road, so better location, imposible. The room was clean, tiny, but had everything I need. Staff is friendly. Is great for solo travelers, maybe not for couples.

Stayed in Khaosan Palace many times now and every time has been a great experience. The room are great for the price and love the fact if you just turn up on a budget they also have even cheaper rooms at the front which are nice too although the rooms at the back are better. Great they have something to...

Ok the positives; If you want to be close to the action at Khaosan Rd you won't get much closer. Rooms are relatively cheap. Wifi access is ok. If specified in advance, you can get rooms a bit farther from the main street and therefore a bit quieter (important). There's a pool on the roof And the negatives; You're close...

This place is not worth how much they charge a night. This is a very very basic place don't be expecting anything special at all. But place is clean in a good location if you like bars and loud music. Nice pool area. Although for some strange reason you are not allowed up on the roof top in the evening...

The location is right in the center of Khao San Road which is perfect, but if you are on the ground floor you will hear the noise outside, which to be honest is expected. Relatively clean and very basic, but it had everything we needed and pretty good value for money. Wouldnt bother with a deluxe double and not much...

This hotel is in a great location but is too pricey for what you get, €23 for a double room per night which is tiny, the pictures of the rooms are very deceiving. I think there is much better value for money around the khoasan road so wouldn't stay in this hotel again.

Do not book here. The staff are so rude the rooms are dirty. We had cockroaches in the bath room. We were on the top floor so called reception for the wifi password as they change it every day. The receptionist said call back in 5 minutes we are busy. I called back 5 minutes later they said again that...

Stayed here back in February with a mate and had a pleasant enough experience. The rooms are comfy and clean but look better on the website. They have a pool with decking on the roof which is full of hungover guests from the night before so get up early if you want a sunbed. The reception staff were very friendly...

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
