Some of receptionist (Mr March) was so moody come across quite rude when he talked to customer. I don't know if he doesn't speak must English or just rude. My wife and I live near this hotel so this is where we usually send our out of town guests. We've never stayed there but have been up to the rooms. The rooms are comfortable and modern. Our friends have never had a single complaint and we have sent several people there. The pool is nice and relaxing and has...

A nice simple hotel that is 15 minutes away from the hustle and bustle which is Bangkok. If you are coming with family or just your spouse or maybe you have business in mind, I would recommend staying here. It is as simple as it gets. Great bedrooms, One restaurant in the ground floor and a spa/massage place and that's...

If you do not fancy a crowded area, then this hotel might suit you. Located just next to Prakhanong BTS station, you won't get lost finding this hotel. This hotel is at Sukhumvit area but a bit quiet part. Need to go elsewhere if you are looking for food or entertainment. Room size was big with a separate bathtub and...

I was here with my family for 6 days. Great place to stay. Being bang opposite to BTS which connects to shopping centre and airport line becomes added advantage. Friendly staff and good service. Wish the staff (male staff other than concierge team) had nice smile while speaking to guests.

This hotel was in a great location and we stayed there twice in Feb/March this year as we were so impressed after the first stay. The room was big and light with huge windows and a kitchen which had a washing machine which was super helpful! One drawback was that they only seemed to have twin beds, no doubles. The...

The Jasmine hotel is great vale for money. Next to a Sky Train station it's staff are friendly and courteous, rooms are comfortable and luxurious. Breakfasts are a buffet mix of full English, Chinese and Thai so you can fill yourself up for the day. The rooftop pool is wonderful, you can sit there and order things from the menu,...

Staying in Thong Lor & Ekamai

Neighbourhood Profile
Thong Lor & Ekamai
Known as Bangkok’s hippest neighbourhood, Thong Lor and Ekamai is where the city's well-dressed and well-heeled spend their nights sipping cocktails in hidden speakeasies and posh restaurants. Live it up in one of Thong Lor's extravagant clubs and be prepared to brush shoulders with a Thai celebrity or two. While great for a night out, the area is nothing short of interesting during the daytime, either. Expect a mix of savvy coffee shops, pop-up bars and loads of vintage stores, brought to you by hip locals with eyes for design.
