My wife and I had the most wonderful three day stay at the Asia hotel in Chinatown. Could not have asked for more. The location made for easy access to many different neighborhoods in the city. The room was clean, modern, and with full amenities. The lobby had a beautiful aesthetic and vibe. We had breakfast in the hotel restaurant/lobby all three days because the atmosphere was so inviting. The breakfast food was delicious as well. There is a fixed menu of six different options, ranging from egg Tartine to a bowl of Singapore breakfast noodles that was absolutely to die for. There was also a included buffet with fresh fruit, fresh juices, coffee, tea, bread and jam. Every single person on the staff was friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend this hotel and would love to stay here again. The location was convenient for accessing tourist sites like the grand palace and temples. It’s easy to get a cab and we actually recommend taking the blue line of the MRT subway. It’s only two or three stops from the cities top tourist sites and trains run every four minutes. Trains were clean, not crowded, and as good as any subway I’ve seen in the United States. We also took taxis to explore other neighborhoods like the markets to the north and the malls to the east. Lastly, I’d like to thank two of the incredible staff members at the front desk: Puie and Morn. I had an unfortunate situation involving scammers at the tourist sites. I informed the front desk of the situation and they immediately jumped into action to problem solve with me. Their help made such a difference at a time when I felt understandably concerned and confused. Within one hour they’d assess the situation and advise me on next steps helped me get in touch with a Tourism Police and set my mind at ease. Could not have asked for more friendly and competent help in a moment of need and I feel incredibly grateful to them. Thanks to them, the situation was resolved in no time.

For my 40th birthday dinner, I had quite a high expectation on everything. From the name that I was not familiar and stars - I had to admit that I had doubts at first but I trust my close friend who helped organize the event and the rave reviews I saw on the internet. It turned out to be the right decision to go with Asai for my little celebration. The venue was super convenient to reach by any type of transportation being situated in Chinatown neighborhood. I noticed the sign of MRT entrance at the hotel and it was just a few minutes walk. Hotel is new, well-designed and homey - decoration, color and lighting just go well together - exuding modern and youthful Asian kinda vibe. The space for the lobby and Jam Jam restaurant (where my party was hosted) was just ideal - chic, nicely lit and energetic. Open outdoor rooftop-like area with veggie pods as a part of the place makes the zone unique, spotted on and relaxing. The big bar you would expect from 5-stars hotel and the pool table give the ambiance some more vibrancy and fun. Food was amazing and all my international friends, even the picky ones were impressed. I don’t think any of us (we were a group of 20) were able to complain on food at all - that is not typical for our gang to be honest. Green dishes as well as proteins were all delicious. Dessert was not bad at all. I enjoyed most of the cocktails and wine from the good selection the bar provided at the bar and bartenders were kind to make anything to our orders. Service was almost flawless, the staff attended to my friends’ particulars well and always with big smiles. Most staff said hi and asked if I needed any help when I run into ones anywhere in the hotel. Security guy was also nice with a knowledge to give on how to get to certain places in Yaowarach area. The room was not big but big glass window looking out to the city view made it more than tolerable. I love the feeling of being in the big city - and Asai did not disappoint. Room feels cozy and clean and the bed and pillows are about right. Breakfast was good with enough variety of good stuff to choose from. Level of congee taste confirmed that you are in Chinatown while other international menu was also nice. The vibe at breakfast was something I like the most as it was packed with young guests who dressed up well for some morning breakie instagram posts. The check-in and checkout with the kiosk were quick and smooth while the staff was also there to offer assistance. I left the bags with reception and spent a good few hours hunting Chinese and Thai food and visiting temples - everything just around the corner. The only few improvements I could think of is more greens and florals in the hotel but it’s coming from me who love plants and flowers - vegetables are not bad though. All in all - my 5 stars’ rating is not overrated. I will definitely come back to the hotel for some nice stay - and that is even far from my usual habit! It’s really a steal!

My family and I wanted to explore BKK Chinatown and surrounding. Located on top of MRT station. It's impressive and right choice to stay at ASAI. Room, lobby and restaurant are so comfortable, tidy and clean with beautiful interior. Staff is very friendly, supportive with high hospitality. Bathroom amenities (body wash, shampoo and hand gel) are relaxing smell, love it. Our family will definitely come back again whenever I have a plan in BKK.

Normally China town always looks busy. But here, we can find minimal space to take a rest. Like the breakfast in jamjam cafe. The outdoor area has light music which we can sit and relax. Very close to mrt &easy to walk to famous yaowarat road.
