Stylish and great for the money with everything around Liked · The hotel is very stylish, Chinese decorated, the staff is nice, the swimming pool on the rooftop is nice, and the room is big and confortable. Disliked · The bar is closed and breakfast is served in the room very early.

This hotel is very nice. It is pretty and peaceful there. There’s a restaurant as part of the hotel grounds. The golf course is very well kept. The reception personnel at the hotel were very friendly and helpful.

I recently stayed at this hotel hotel with my Wife for our honeymoon. At first sight you would really think it just an old hotel for a budget stay. However the rooms where very spacious, super clean, Good air conditioning and you really would take you a minute to convince yourself that this is a 3 star hotel. The employees are super nice and friendly and will help you in the best way they can. The money exchange is at a really good rate. The only thing I would have to say needs a little improvement is the breakfast (and I’m only saying this as a positive criticism). Definitely recommended and will definitely stay at this place the next time I travel to Bangkok

Nice and quiet hotel near the BTS skyrail. Large spacious rooms with good air con from the heat. Highly recommended for a solo traveller. They do have a decent buffet breakfast if you choose it. Otherwise you have to pay 250 baht for it.

After renovating rooms at the hotel, I found that this hotel is incredibly charm with beauty. What I like the most is the convenience of going for shopping because this hotel is surrounded and it is easy to take BTS sky train going anywhere in Bangkok

The hotel is located in an alley about 10 mins walk from the Phayathai BTS station; near King Power Duty Free and at the back of Sukosol Hotel, this is in a business district and is very accessible. Check in at 12midnight was a breeze, and the room assigned to us was clean, with complimentary bottled water and coffee. The comfort room have toiletries like shampoo, body soap,(but no toothbrush and toothpaste) but I found it odd that the sink is outside the comfort room. Other amenities in the room are hair dryer, slippers, safety deposit box, tv, and minibar. The room is big and soundproof, but there is no cabinet to store clothes, no bedside table and the A/C is centralized so you have no control. Breakfast is served as early as 630 and is filling enough, with daily regulars ham , sausage, sunny side up,fruits and fried rice. what varies daily is stir fried veggies, but sadly during our 3days stay there is no beef or seafood. Service is good from the receptionist to the bellboy to the resto staff. Btw their forex rate is high. Pros : very good service, best foreign exchange rate, clean big room, wifi is good Cons : lacks breakfast variety, no wardrobe cabinet, centralized A/C Btw when we stayed here the hotel is in the middle of renovation, would have been better if breakfast is free to compensate for this

My first time visiting Bangkok was in August 2018. We stayed at True Siam Phayathai and we were happy :) This year, we stayed at the same hotel and i feel happy as a returning customer. Things that i mentioned in my 1st review: 1. Poor to average of Internet speed@2018 -> Its now improved (not to a very fast one but i would say its usable (at least streaming video from 2 devices) 2. Average breakfast@2018 -> Its slightly improved where i can get some bread/sausages, fried noodles. No complaint for me as i am going to enjoy Bangkok street foods anyhow :) Something that i need to highlight to the hotel management here: The breakfast time is from 6:30am till 10:30am. However, i am not seeing any food refill starting at 10am even with customers sitting there. I did ask for refil, but the staff is not responding until i need to head over to the reception desk and inform them. This needs improvement! 3. This is the lowlight of the hotel: I encountered air conditioning issue on my last year's visit, and this year too. For some reason, the night shift "technician" was sent to our room but nothing was improved that night. Also, his attitude needs improvement. (Hotel management may ping me offline for fuller details). We are forced to sleep at warmer room till next day. I hope this was not happen during second stay. 1 star is deducted due to this incident. 4. This should be first item for highlighting but i want to save the best for last :D True Siam@Phayathai is undergoing room renovation, and we happened to stayed at the renovated room. It feels modernized, and we love the design. Kudos to TrueSiam Phayathai management! Those listed above were the comparison of year 2018 vs 2019. On top of those, the good things of TrusSiam@Phayathai are Nearby definition here is referring to 10-15mins of slow walk (I am having back pain and my walking pace is slower) 1. Nearby to Airport Rail Link to Suvarnabhumi Airport / BTS Phayathai 2. Nearby to BTS Victory Monument 3. Friendly reception staff :) In the end, i will still choose this hotel for my future stay at Bangkok :)

I stayed here recently for four nights while on a business trip. The hotel is in a good location. Some of the rooms have been recently renovated which is what i had been given. When you walk in the room it looks modern and clean and spacious but,...... There are no bedside tables or bedside lamps, so, there is no where to rest anything by the bed, phone ( for alarm) glass of water or a light to read in bed. The light switches are in a impractical area away from the bed. so you have to get out of bed to turn light off and fumble your way to the bed. The basis in the bathroom does not have hot water only the shower does which is not practical for washing or indeed for men to shave as we need a mirror and hot water. The breakfast was also very poor, ok i think if you are Asian as that is virtually the only food they offer. No Pastries!. they have pre fried eggs on offer but they are served cold as is most of the "Hot" buffet food. the Orange juice is basically orange cordial. I would not stay here again as there are much better choices available for a similar price.

Only stayed one night in this establishment, but it exceeded expectation for the price paid, pretty central location, clean and tidy, decent bit of brekers and friendly staff, nice touches were a couple of bottles of drinking water for gratis waiting in the room and helpful reception staff phoning a metered taxi rather then having to flag down one that could over charge a tourist. If your looking for a decent base while spending most of your time exploring Bangkok you could do much worse then here!

I stayed at this hotel for three nights. The breakfast was delicious and the staffs were friendly and kind. One good thing was that you can borrow an iron from the hotel. One bad thing was that the hotel elevator was crowded all the time and it hardly carried even five people. That’s why I gave only four stars.
