Feung Nakorn Balcony is a comfortable and well located Hotel hidden away in the otherwise busy part of the main tourist area of Bangkok. The staff are very friendly and it is walking distance to the main palace, reclining Buddha temple and some delicious restaurants and small shopping areas. It has a restaurant on site with breakfast included and they...

What a great pied à terre in Bangkok!! This place is spotless from top to bottom, staff are extremely helpful, amiable and welcoming. Breakfasts offer a generous combination of western fare and thai staples. Outstanding location! 15 minute walk to Grand Palace and Wat Pho in one direction, 15 minutes from the fairgrounds of Kho San Road in the other...

We stayed at the Feung Nakorn Balcony Rooms & Cafe last year and returned this year. So yes we highly recommend it. The rooms are large and clean. The food is great. They had done some remodeling since we were there last, but it looks like that is done. If you want to visit the Palace and Wat Pho is...

We stayed at the hotel for one night and everything was perfect! Nice and really clean room and bathroom, beautiful bar and restaurant area, where we eat the best pad Thai ever. They even let us have a shower in the dormitory the afternoon after our check out..well done!

Everything was fine besides the construction is being made just opposite our room... Not so quiet we expected. Like the green area and bar. Our son loved fish in the "aquarium" :). Kind reception. Very good localization. Better to take your own taxi from the airport - it's cheaper.

Was looking for a place walking distance to the grand palace that fit the budget and booked 2 nights here. I really enjoyed my stay with my husband. The location was great and quiet, room and bathroom clean, slept well in the bed (it was firmer than what I'm used to but had a solid sleep), very friendly staff, and...

Although it was very difficult to find, the hotel opens into a gorgeous courtyard with 2 reflection ponds, a large koi pond and a large fountain amid tropical flowers/foliage and a hanging orchid area. There is a cute bar. Breakfast is extensive with Western and delicious Thai dishes. There seems to always be a flavored rice, a noodle and a...

The location of the hotel was disappointing. Away from the city. You won't find any shops opened after 6:30 pm. No good restaurant to eat in the nearby places. Also, the rooms were not good. AC was not working my room. Not at all comfortable stay there.

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
