For an authentic experience of Nepal, it can't be beat. The entire staff are Nepalese and very friendly. The rooms are large and beautifully decorated. The food is superb. Be adventurous! Meet the manager/owner, Assajita, and learn about a homestay at Sanu House in Katmandu.
Do not go there.... room dirty, door to bathroom half ripped off, staff could not speak 1 word of english. 1st night we went out and came back around 10pm, gate closed...had to scream for security guard to wake up and open.2nd night, gate closed...More
Cheap and basic but covered all the bases - clean, comfortable, decent location, friendly and helpful staff and good on-site restaurant with nice mutton curry. The price is at least 50% cheaper than any other place in Sukhumvit.
This is a tough walk from the sky train but worth the effort. Twin room great beds, cold beer on arrival, bathroom basic but clean and effective, hot shower with pressure. Air can is a great fan but no cold air. We are returning next...More
