It's certainly not the cheapest place, and the Western style breakfast is better in many lower priced hotels in Thailand. TheThai breakfast isn't even worth mentioning. But the riverside location is pretty, very quiet and yet in the middle of down town Bangkok. The pool is lovely, and the staff friendly.

It was , once and possibly can become again, if somebody in the hotel bussiness decides to invest. The position is excellent, by the river , as it should be in a city that become what it is because was built by a river. The service is excellent, the rooms are spacious, bathroom has a style, bed is comfortable... Is...

This old mansion property gives you feel of 1980s home. Rooms are comfortable, though shower area is extremely comfortable with just hand shower available. Staff is extremely helpful and ever smiling. Bad part here is, you can reach at this location only by their private ferry from Phra Arthit Pier (N13). Property is indeed beautiful and very close to happening...

The Praya Palazzo is a gem of tranquility and elegance. Set close to Khao San road geographically, it is several light years away sociologically. The rooms are spacious and attractive. The staff is helpful and attentive.

Review: A quaint get-away stay within a get-away Praya was piacevole! The Palazzo is a welcome separation from touring Bangkok to have a near private launch (water taxi) escort you to a renovated Italianate setting across the banks of the Chao Praya River. It’s virtually an island to itself once at the small enclave, only accessible by the boat. The...

I am so glad I stayed here! I did a lot of research and read multiple reviews before choosing Praya Palazzo and I was not disappointed! It was truly an oasis from the craziness of Bangkok. After all day of sight seeing, shopping in markets and visiting temples, it was wonderful taking your own private shuttle back across the river....

If you are a lover of charming boutique hotels, a little old-fashioned but unique - try this hotel. Reasonable rates for the excellence of the product, charming staff and a river boat just for you to cross the river every time you leave or get back. You will be given a local phone to order the boat. It's just a...

Good hotel in a great location to escape the chaos and noise of the Bangkok streets. There is a boat that takes you to the hotel. When the taxi arrives at the destination it looks like a collection of shops and then they guide you into a strange alley with shops etc. This is the way to the pier where...

Bangkok is frantic & Praya is a great way to step away from the hustle for some time out. People enviously look on as your private launch ferries you over the river to the hotel. The staff are charming, breakfast is great. It says no kids but we and another family were staying at the same time. Some of the...
