One of the friendliest, welcoming hostels I stayed at in Thailand. I met loads of other solo travellers, many of whom I met up with/bumped into again down the road. Clean, spacious, friendly staff, plus cheap food and drinks available right at the hostel. Super close to Khao San Rd too.

Perfect locations. Close enough to Koh San road that you can walk there in 5 minutes, but far enough away that you can't hear it from the hostel. The facilities are some of the best I had in Thailand. Showers were really nice. Toilets though had doors which are about 5ft high so anyone can look over while you're in...

Stayed here at the start of my backpacking trip for two nights. Very clean, spacious rooms, albeit a bit loud but no fault of the hostels. Great location a few mins walk from Koh San road. Although in a room of 24 not really that much of a problem as room shape designed in fours, so feels less. Would recommend!

The hostel was clean and nice. The best part is that it's walking distance from Khao San - this means you can stay out for as long as you'd please and have a short walk back to your (not the most comfortable) bed.

I started my trip from Bangkok on my own and met many other solo travellers and we ended up travelling "together" as in, meeting each other throughout the places. The hostel is good, the only annoying thing is the no shoes allowed thing, because your feet stays filthy.. and also I find it a little gross for showering and using...

NapPark was my first hostel at the start of a 5 month trip and I couldn't of asked for anything better. Such a clean, friendly hostel, the staff are great, great facilities and it was so easy to make friends who I still bump into travelling a month later.

We loved this hostel. It was very nice and relaxing during the day and had a good social atmosphere at night. Two blocks away from khao San road and tones of great restaurants and street food, we found this hostel to be a perfect location when staying in Bangkok. Tuk tuk drivers will offer you city tours for very cheap...

This is an exceptional hostel that has everything you need as a traveler, especially if you're alone because the setup makes it so ready to meet people. Comfortable dorms they seem small despite holding a bunch of people. Good security. Beautiful, clean washrooms. Awesome hangout spot downstairs and the staff were very, very helpful. Lovely location right by Khao San...

Booked a superior, rooms are clean. Large locker big enough to fit your whole Rucksack, plus and light on every bed. The social area has computers and a large comfy area for everyone to sit. Only downside would be the showers having frosted glass doors instead of solid doors 😁 Would definitely recommend for solo travellers

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
