The hostel is located in a great proximity to the big night markets on Khao San which are perfect for grabbing a bite to eat, listening to music, getting a thai massage, or buying some souvenirs. It was also very clean, from the main area, to the dorm rooms beds and bathrooms. We also had a change of plans and...

The negative 1. Unwillingness /inability to advise on what to do or see. One of the employees would actually not recommend that I see where the locals live! She would not tell me where to go. However you only need to see a guide book to read that at least Tonburi is worth seeing. And it really is! So apart...

If you are on traveling around SEA and are arriving in Bangkok then this is the best place to start. The staff are awesome and the people are great too. I met half a dozen people here who were also on the start of their trip and we all stayed together for about 6 weeks. So of us even longer....

I got the 6 beds mixed room. It was a nice stay, comfy, good location and safe. Very clean, convenient location if you want to get the Uber or walk around or bus. It's also close to Kao San road where most people probably love to go. Highly recommend it.

Perfect setup and great location as everyone has mentioned but there is one main reason this hostel was so great and unforgettable.. The lady of the front desk named View was amazing and really made my stay unforgettable! She brought a load of us lost solo travelers together, took us all out to the best local eateries, guided us and...

Nap park is 2 doors down from khao san road but on a quiet street. Everything you need is nearby. The beds are comfortable and the lockers are big. There are cameras next to the lockers and in public areas. There are 4 computers you can use and a book swap. The showers are hot and strong and always being...

Just want to say thanks to Jib and everyone at Nappark for creating a place travelers to one of the busiest parts of Bangkok can rest, think and restore. We had wonderful times gathering in the spacious lounge area in the mornings and found the sleeping accommodations, thanks in large part to the sense of community and cooperation the Nappark...

This was a great oasis from Khao San road. The hostel staff and the guest were really friendly and nice and helpful whenever we asked a question. I felt very safe and enjoyed my stay. The AC does go off between 12-5 in the dorm but there is a great lobby lounge area that you can hang in if you...

Stayed here for 2 nights in Jan when I started my solo travelling. Bangkok was my first stop and I booked this month's in advance. Great location, Clean, very social communal area and reasonably priced. The dorm layout was good as gave a bit of privacy when there was a lot of people to the room. My only complaint was...

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
