The hotel itself is great, beds super comfortable, fabulous location. Sadly it is let down by the really expensive restaurant attached to it. There is where you will get your breakfast.. If you are vegetarian forget it. Twice I had eggs, first was an inedible omelette raw in the middle, 2nd day snotty fried eggs!!! Had a small pizza there first evening.... 506 bhat!!!!! Also if you misplace your room key, it's another 200 bhat... So sadly it's not the fabulous review I initially thought it would be.
We chose this hotel as we wanted somewhere comfortable to get over the jetlag when we arrived in Bangkok away from the crowds. The rooms are lovely with super comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. The restaurant is great but expensive but we had breakfast included which was enormous. The drinks are divine and the staff super nice and accommodating. Pool area is great to relax and cool down. The area isn't the nicest or handiest but we walked to Wang Lang pier each day (15 -20 mins) to get the boat crossings and a long boat round Thonburi area. There's lots to see round Wang Lang and it's just across the river from the Grand Palace and other main sites.
Great little hotel slightly off the beaten track but still very easy to get everywhere you’d like to go in the city; it’s just a short walk away from one of the piers which the orange flag boat services, for example. Lovely room and a very good pool at the rear for cooling down in. Would highly recommend if you want to keep to a budget but don’t want to miss out on the luxury of having a pool on holiday.
We stayed 3 nights in late Dec. Enjoyed the room space, comfortable bed, good linen, powerful shower. Swam back at the hotel everyday after a day out in the city. Thai fried rice, congee or American breakfast was delicious, served in the lovely covered area next to the green surrounding the pool. And the staff. Most friendly and helpful. They taped and tied up 2 largish boxes for us for hand-carrying on our way to the airport. Would've been awkward to handle them otherwise. Thank you for a most pleasant stay!
Loved the aesthetics of the rooms in this hotel. The design of the rooms and bathrooms as well as the fixtures were chic and classy. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were cosy without being cluttered. The lap pool was perfect for a quick dip and to swim laps. The terrace beside the lap pool looked like a ship's hull especially since the hotel is near the National Museum of Royal Barges. It felt like a home away from home. The breakfast was a treat. The fried rice was delicious and came with fresh squeezed juice, fresh fruits and tea or coffee. Enjoyed our stay here.
Lovely staff, came with complimentary fresh coconuts which was just what we needed! Helpful with bags and nice chilled pool, restaurant wasn't open yet but they were working hard on it. Clean and kept well
Better than expected very professional hotel with nice new rooms. Stayed only 1 night so that we could be at siriraj hospital at 8.30am The place is brand new and still all shiney. The staff we're very pleasant indeed professional and polite there is a nice sized swimming pool that we didn't use but I put my hand in, was nice and warm with a nice green area around it there is an off-road car park for easy parking. In the room the beds are very comfortable clean and soft not cheap hard bats that you might find in a cheap hotel the bathroom is nice they have a smart TV in the room which was already connected to the internet very handy for travelers who may want to use Netflix I highly recommend skipping the breakfast it was very average to be polite. the hotel did some nice little complimentary touches that was not expected such as really nice fresh baked confectionery fruit tarts and also some fresh fruit that you might expect to find in a very Posh Hotel these were surprisingly very delicious and we really appreciated these cost money and take time to arrange and shows the mindset of the Hotel owners 🙏 Checking in and checking out was easy the staff even offered to go to the pharmacy for us when I asked where the nearest one was! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice hotel in this area I think this is the best option we were surprised in a good way considering the price we were very happy I feel that it is decent value for money…
Our family stayed at the new Scene Hotel & we all loved it. The common areas are bright, airy & large. The pool is a generous size perfect for kids to play & adult to swim laps. The bedrooms were all nicely designed, bright and very comfortable. Entertainment system also quite up to date. All the staffs was very attentive and friendly. There is even private parking. Overall, a great small hotel very close to the Chaophraya river. We will recommend this to everyone!
The room is very clean with the beautiful interior desgin. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We really enjoy our stay in this hotel. Highly recommended. 飯店小而精美,床很舒服,整個環境給人感覺十分乾淨明亮,櫃檯的服務人員也很有效率,下次如果再訪還是會選擇這間飯店。
Nestled in the old part of Bangkok, Scene Bangkok Noi offers clean and boutique style accommodation near Khao San and Siriraj hospital. Perfect for family and couples! I enjoyed my stay in the black and gold theme room and would recommend the hotel to anyone looking to stay in the area.
