The hostel is just cross the road to bangkok main train station and just door step from MRT. But for the price they charge for a dorm I only advise you to stay here if you have to get the early morning train like I had to get the 05:55 train to Cambodian border.

This place is a easy walk from Hua Lamphong train / mrt station. The locker is good size for a backpack, and it is located just beside Chinatown. If you are staying here, do try the night street food around Bangkok Chinatown. Also, in case you decide to stay in, there are movies for free rental which you can watch... More

We stayed here for one night before transit to Chiangmai Mai by overnight train. It was an absolutely perfect location for this! It is located almost right outside the Hua Lamphong station (which is on a direct line from the major airport), and you can get to the Bangkok international train station via the Hua Lamphong station underpass - very... My friend and I stayed in this hostel for 2 nights as it is right next to hua lamphong train station. The area te hostel is based is not very nice but the hostel itself was great. We had a private room with clean bathroom and shower. We had free wifi and the staff were all very friendly and helpful... More

Convenient to the train station and Chinatown but more a hostel than hotel. Double room is very small, but does have a room safe. Can leave luggage: if unattended, no charge; if in closet, 20 baht each.

Location - excellent for access to train station and places along subway line. The subway is right outside the front door and costs 30_40 baht depending on location. We used it for MBK shopping centre and the weekend market. There is also a 24 hour mini supermarket 2 minutes away under centra hotel. Apart from that the area is loud... More

A great place to stay if you are in Bangkok for the night and wanting to catch the train in the morning. A minute or two walk from the train station which is opposite, and seconds from the underground as an entrance is outside the doors. Good rooms, and food was lovely.

Stayed 3 nights. Close to station and MRT. 15 min walk to china town. Not too many food options close by. Very clean and tastefully decorated. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Recommend the omelette at the hostel restaurant for breakfast. We had a deluxe room which I think is slightly overpriced.

This is a lovely hotel right next to Hua Lamphong train station. We just needed to spend a night near the station at the end of our visit to Bangkok and then wished we had stayed at this hotel throughout our stay in Bangkok. It has a lovely restaurant with great food, nice cosy lobby with Internet, clean rooms, luggage... More

Convenient location, close to the station and the metro so if you are in transit to Cambodia it might be a good choice. Apart from that the room was more than basic. There is a lounge area but we never used it. The lift was breathtakingly slow.

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
