We chose this place because it was relatively close to the attractions but a bit far from all the noise of Khao San.
It was a nice quiet place and the receptionists were nice. We stayed in a twin room with AC. There is a...More
Nice air con accommodation, clean, reasonable, quiet and not too close to noisy Koh San road but close enough to easily wander down to. We're able to book in very late last minute no problems on our return too
This place is located in a nice and quiet, leafy street. Problem was that the website looked deceivingly good, showing a nice green courtyard. In reality, the main area of the hotel is a concrete car park (with cars) around which the lobby and breakfast...More

While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around
Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
