A home away from home in such a great location. Close to many attractions and in the old town that gives you the impression of the charming old Bangkok. The interior is old style and really beautiful. The rooms and the facilities are great. The food and drinks are good too and inexpensive.

Perfect hostel for the backpackers as Khao San street is just 10mins walking. Hostel is small yet greatly decorated amazing ambience. Located at the very busy street with lot of tourists. Staff was ok if not bad. The rooms are clean and nicely maintained.

Nice enough hostel, with friendly desk staff and a handy cafe on the ground floor. We were in a private double room which was spacious, with a clean, serviceable ensuite. The bed was hard, but we've learnt that that's very typical in Thailand! Amazing Pad Thai (Thip Samai) just across the road! Main downside was that the common room was...

Lovely hostel in a quiet location, not far from Khao San road. Great staff in a café/hostel that I'm sure gonna visit again. The place looks more like boutique hotel in europe then a normal hostel in Thailand. Staff is doing all to help you, and the best Pad Thai place in Bangkok is on the other side of the...

Nice staff, but: - the rooms are not in the same building as the reception and the bar, they are in a building across the street - the rooms and bathrooms are not very clean - if you want to change the air conditioner you have to go downstairs to ask for the remote and the give it back -...

The staff were friendly and the hostel was very clean. I enjoyed the decorations. However, the hostel is actually two separate buildings. There is a main building with the reception and cafe, and another building across the street in an alley. I actually preferred that, but I would have liked to know because it made me uneasy checking in late...

Very friendly staff. The location was very good near khao san, and several important places for visiting like Royal Palace, wat pho, golden mountain. The rooms and toilets are very clean with air-con.

I am travelling in Asia for two months, and I have been to many hostels, but I found in Niras a real family. I definitely loved this place and I definitely recommand to go there. I stayed there for 4 nights to wait for the Myanmar's visa to be done. About the room and the accomodation in general, it's really...

It's a calm and chilling hostel. The decorations are characteristic. Once you step inside the café, with the atmosphere created by the music played and the peculiar objects all around, is really like jumping in the past. Everything is vintage. The best part, the lovely library corner, with even an old thai typewriter. They defined themselves as a cultural hostel,...

Although I can't say that I enjoyed Bangkok, I did have a very pleasant stay at Niras. The cafe is adorable, the staff is incredibly helpful and so very friendly. Certainly one of the cleanest hostels I've been in. It was the perfect refuge from Bangkok and all it's noise.
