Overall it says in the title of the review. However, the rooms are a little bit small, once an extra bed added into the room, you literally have not got much room to move about. Wifi not so great, keeps dropping. Fantastic location, quite & cozy tugged in an alley. Quite near to one of the main train station which...

Adorable hotel, super sweet staff and good value for money. Rooms are small though, WiFi was very awful, was kicked out many times, sometimes not even able to connect. Seems like IT has to check the router settings....

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and we found it to be very nice. The staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfast was also very good and it is only a couple of minutes walk from BTS Thonglor. If that is still to far to walk, they offer a free Tuktuk service to the BTS station. The only...

Had another great couple of days in Bangkok with Hotel Salil as our home base. Close to the BTS station, super friendly staff. Room was always clean and stocked. We had a flight late in the day, they let us store our bags, go sightsee, come back and shower near the gym area before flying back to the USA. Nothing...

Great location is definitely the highlight for this hotel. The decoration and color of the hotel is abit too cheesy for my taste. I got the room with balcony in the first building s which i next to the road and it was very noisy. My room, 3201 is right in front of the stairs and the housekeeping closet so...

I booked the hotel via the hotel website. Reached the hotel via their friendly limousine service. At this time of the review, I'm still staying here.. The night I reached the hotel, the shower heater is not working and the pressure of the shower is very weak. Called the hotel to check, sent a guy over to check the shower,...

We just stayed here for 3 nights. It's an OK value, especially considering the area. Not one of the cheaper places to stay in Bangkok. The room was very small and we had a fair amount of noise from rooms around us. Especially the one above (all floors are wooden) and from doors closing up and down the hallways. Breakfast...

The hotel is nice and quiet, tucked away from the main Sukhumvit Road, but short walking distance from the Thong Lor BTS station. Lots of good local, japanese restaurants and street food nearby. We were greeted everyday by very friendly staff, we liked the colorful interiors in our room, and very spacious bathroom. Special mention to the housekeeping for keeping...

Staying in Thong Lor & Ekamai

Neighbourhood Profile
Thong Lor & Ekamai
Known as Bangkok’s hippest neighbourhood, Thong Lor and Ekamai is where the city's well-dressed and well-heeled spend their nights sipping cocktails in hidden speakeasies and posh restaurants. Live it up in one of Thong Lor's extravagant clubs and be prepared to brush shoulders with a Thai celebrity or two. While great for a night out, the area is nothing short of interesting during the daytime, either. Expect a mix of savvy coffee shops, pop-up bars and loads of vintage stores, brought to you by hip locals with eyes for design.
