got the hotel from a counter at the airport - small room (japanese style) with 3 mattresses on the floor, with TV, dvdplayer - window to a silent backyard - bathroom with warm shower (various showes modes) and a glas wall to the room - extra towels at the swimming pool - noisy air con, but we slept with open...

I've just re-read other reviews on this site and am wondering if I'm a bit fussy or have Bangkok-shock..but I've just spent a 2 months in Laos and China and this hotel ranks as the most expensive and dirtiest we've stayed in - we thought we were treating ourselves. I believed that at the price we paid through agoda the...

The hotel is clean, room was small, decor plain, low-cost but pleasant and quiet - except for neighbor who was very audibly suffering from excesses of the night before - though amenities are minimal and bed is on firm side of comfortable. Lobby is inconvenient, with elevator on mezzanine level rather than lobby level. Location is quite far down Soi...

This is my second time to stay at the Boss Suites in the past three years. It is a pretty small, but comfortable hotel in the Sukhumvit area of Bangkok. The rooms are good size, the beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are very clean. Rooms rates are under baht2000 per night, which is very good for that popular part...

Close walk to the action (Nana district), clean, wireless actually works, staff pleasant and helpful, great breakfast buffet. Only downside: ALL of the fitness/gym equipment items are broken. The one and only threadmill only works if set at a slope of 10 degrees or higher. Everything else doesn't work at all. period. Overall I would go there again if I...

This hotel was very clean, modern and we loved the rooms, especially for the price. The staff was also really friendly and helpful and nice. It was kind of a walk from the skytrain, but other than that, we would definitely go back!

I stayed at this hotel 3/2/13-5/2/13 and found it to be very friendly and nice. The reception staff were very helpful and extremely welcoming, rooms were great, reasonably priced mini bar, good pool, gym is basic, breakfast was perfectly acceptable. For the price you pay it is great. Location is 10mins walk from the hustle and bustle so just on...

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
