I've just spent a week at the Key Premier - First time for me here having previously stayed at a similar, but now shut hotel near by. The hotel quickly organised an Express PCR with private transfer with a result in under 2 hours. Excellent communication form the hotel GM! A quick check-in by the excellent reception staff. The Deluxe rooms are modern and just as the photos show. Lovely bathroom with shower - all spotlessly clean, and serviced every morning. The hotel is in the residential part of Soi 7, a short walk from Sukhumvit, and very peaceful with little traffic noise. The 7th & top floor has a restaurant, bar area and a lovely pool - all serviced by extremely friendly and helpful staff - Great Iced Tea's!! I had breakfast in the restaurant a couple of times - eggs cooked to order with all the usual food including Asian, and Thai food by the pool - all good quality and price. This really is a great place to stay - very central and near Nana Sky Train. I will book in here again for sure on my next visit - Thanks to all the staff for a great stay!

In Thailand it is quite common to arrive to a hotel and ask to see the room before paying and checking in. The idea was recommended to me by my former colleagues, people who had been traveling the world for decades, before I ever visited the country and I do it every time I go to a hotel because unfortunately, the bait and switch is quite common here. In fact, they tried to do that to me at this hotel, twice. The first time was at initial check in. Tukta, the front desk person, had the door man show me room 602. It looks on to a nice green space and has a city view. However, after paying and checking in, she put me in room 601. When I got into the room it was dark, and had no view it faced the wall of another building and was not at all like the room she had shown me before. I went down and asked her to move me to the room she had shown me, which she did. But then she told me me if I wanted to extend I needed to decide the same night as the room had been promised to other guests. In fact, she said claimed that they were due to check in the same night I checked in. So why would she show me a room that's supposedly promised to other guests and then, go on to offer me an extension of said room despite the pending arrival of some fantastical guests who have already been promised the room? I do not know, but I realized very quickly that some thing was off about the exchange. Nevertheless I decide to stay because the room I booked, for the price 1289, seemed worth it. The next morning before 8, I called to request an extension. This time I spoke with Pooey, the GM, and she stuck to the story about the fantasy guest who needed the room, and pushed me to move rooms. So I asked to be shown the room. She showed me three different rooms, one with twin beds, one with a king sized bed and one suite. I declined the suite, and the room with twin beds. Nevertheless, at close to six in the evening I ran my hand across the bed and sure enough she had put me into a room with two twin beds pushed together instead of a room with one king bed. Prior to that she had called me three different times in the morning, to remind me to move. Naturally by this time I'm irate. Why would she put me in a room with twin beds when I requested a king and there were several available? I called and told her they needed to move my room. They did but with lots of arguing and talking over me. I eventually decided that I would not stay because they were dishonest, disrespectful, and rude. She also offered to show me CCTV of me being shown the room with the twin beds pushed together but the video never surfaced. In addition Pooi claimed to have no direct supervisor and told me that as far as I was concerned she was the owner, and CEO of the hotel, when I asked for information to file a complaint. I've never experienced such a lack of professionalism or outright deception in a chain like Compass. I will never stay in any of their hotels again and I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Furthermore, I will be reaching out to upper management to inform them of how their general manager treats customers, like their business is a joke or something to be played with.

After a very shaky test and go experience at another hotel, we checked into the key premier for a few nights. We have been visiting Bangkok for over 20 years and this is by far the best mid range hotel we have stayed in. Lovely clean rooms, friendly staff and everything just as it should be. Will visit again especially if they doing the superb deals that are currently on offer

Great little hotel in a good position near to bars and transport yet quiet at night. Rooms are clean and modern with good air conditioning and the staff are very friendly. The bar area is next to the small pool on the roof with a good view of Bangkok. You can also bar snacks here. This hotel is a little gem and well worth the money.

I’ll start off by saying that the staff and overall hotel are excellent. My friend and I stayed here for a few weeks with no problems and even made reservations for the next month. We went to Phuket for holiday, but could not make it back to Bangkok because of Covid restrictions. I emailed the Key Premier and informed them of the situation, and they told me that because I booked my next stay under a discounted rate that I could not be refunded any money. This makes no sense to me. I wasn’t canceling my reservation because I changed my mind, I couldn’t get out of Phuket. My advice to anyone booking here and coming from a different province in Thailand is to make sure what their Covid restriction policy’s are. My friend and I both lost money for 15 days of booking.
