good central location, rooms basic but spacious and comfortable. can be very warm at night, would recommend going for AC if you can afford over fan. a little noisy at night but it is very central. you can watch films, charge phones, go on internet and chill drinking downstairs, the curry from the restaurant is really tasty!! have stayed here...

Reading one of the previous reviews and having spent 4 nights here I'm really not sure what some people are expecting when they book into a budget hotel (we paid about 350 bhat for a double room) but this place does exactly as it says on the tin. Clean rooms, good cheap food in the communal area, films on 3...

This is my second stay in this hotel and my wife's first. It is a no frills hotel with very nice rooms at 870 baht for a queen bed. They only deal in cash and only in the local currency and also demmand payment for your whole stay. The rooms are very comfortable, well decorated. There is a fridge but...

Absolutely brilliant hotel for the mula. Rooms are totally cool - i mean, they look like a 4 star hotel if not better. Fair enough, there isno lift and no one to carry your bags for you but WOW!

Off the beaten track, in a working nieghborhood, a very short walk to the Sky Train, and full of amenities. This a family owned and operated hotel, with few frills, and mainly for Thai clients, but clean, and nice rooms, A/C, small fridge, and TV. Queen beds, small bath with shower only. But very reasonable, and good for extended stays....

Staying in Ari

Neighbourhood Profile
Home to at least a dozen hip coffee shops, sophisticated boutiques and some seriously fine restaurants, Ari is the newest epicentre of Bangkok cool. Fleeing from the skyrocketing rents in Thonglor and Ekamai, many young urbanites made Ari their new home. This mostly residential neighbourhood outside the city centre isn't much of a trendy area on first sight, but if you scratch the surface of government buildings and noodle shops, you'll find out that there's loads of hidden gems waiting to be discovered. Bring a local friend or do your research on beforehand to avoid missing out on all the fun.
