Went here last week for 3 nights. The hotel is situated in a quiet side street of SamSen Road. Perfect location. The owners are very nice people. It's kept clean very well. Nice breakfast. I would not hesitate to stay here again. Great neighbourhood.

Very nice hotel. Good and friendly service. We stayed here a few days. It is centrally located and an easy walk to a few places that are worth a visit. Also several good restaurants in walking distance.

The structure as a very nice position for visiting the beauty of the historical centre of bangkok. The staff is very kind as it  always is in thailand. Saying that, considering the price i paid for my  9 nights stay a few things should be improved: Breakfast is very poor ( two slices of bread, one jam, one butter and...

Nice little safe haven amidst the chaos that is the City of Bangkok. Situated a 5 minute walk from Khao San Road down a nice little side road, it's just far enough away to be away from loud and rowdy-ness of it all. Also a 7/11 at the end of the street... if you haven't been to Thailand before, you'll...

We booked 2 nights in a fan room. That room was pretty basic and lacked the basics like a fridge and it was just too hot for us during the night. We upgraded for the second night to an aircon room, which was a lot nicer and had basically everything you need. Decent room, clean enough and we only had...

A great value. Authentic yet modern. The hotel has as old part in a more traditional Thai style house the newer part in the back has modern rooms and contemporary feel. The value is excellent. The staff is helpful.

Spent 4 lovely nights here. It's tucked away on a very quiet side street yet close enough to all the action. Staff is really helpful for getting around/advice. Only downside was that there was no coffee maker in the room (had to buy it from them), but it's a guesthouse so they take care of most things. Great combo of...

This is an excellent hotel/guest house- it's not a backpackers and it's not the cheapest ( or the dearest) most of the reviews are spot on Efficiently staffed front desk - 24 hrs- the women rule- leave your key at the front desk! Rooms above the reception in the old house facing the street ( I assume they don't have...

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
