Yes hotel much like other large high end place. Well presented and comfortable. i really do not enjoy this glass panel bathroom idea. Even with the privacy screen, almost impossible not to wake up wife or others in room at night. Little privacy. Pool was too small to enjoy if slightly busy at all. Biggest dislike was the disingenuous attitude of the staff. Felt so false EXCEPT for one young intern girl from Holland, she is made for hotel customer service and satisfaction. I think Amy was her name. I would not return to this hotel. Just my thoughts on the place.

This hotel was perfect for our arrival into Bangkok and Thailand. Travelling with 2 kids (6 & 8) the hotel was a serene escape after busy days in Bangkok. Before going I was worried about the location as it's a little out of town, but it's perfect. There is a metro stop within a 10 minutes walk (Petchaburi) with direct trains to the reclining budda and Grand Palace, also up to the weekend market, then in the evening we took cabs to Khoa San road or china town. I would recommend the Grab app for taxis. Both taxis and the metro are cheap and easy to get around. The metro is also air conditioned which is bliss! The hotel itself is beautiful, the roof top pool perfect for an afternoon to revive yourself before heading back. Breakfast was substantial. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Stayed in one of the club rooms on Easter weekend and it was a luxurious experience. The hotel is beautiful and highly recommend staying in one of the club level rooms if available. The club lounge offers daily breakfast, snacks, tapas and drinks and there was hardly anyone else there when I visited so always received prompt and customized high level service. I also used the spa which was a luxurious and wonderfully relaxing experience. The 12th level pool was also beautiful and if you go at the right time you may even have it all to yourself as I did. Only downside is the hotel is not really close to anything and have to take a taxi or walk a bit for public transport. I attempted to take the bus one day for a short trip but the bus never showed up so I gave up and took a taxi. As a side note I also found it strange that the hotel makes you take the elevator even though my room was only one floor down from the lounge I was informed I was not allowed to take the stairs. Other than these minor details I had a wonderful Easter weekend solo vacation at this hotel.

This hotel was recommended by our travel agent for an overnight stop in Bangkok before our flight home after our trip to Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam. It is grand and luxurious, rooms were well appointed and breakfast was lovely, lots of choices for western and more local clients. However, the rooftop pool area is very small and a few people up there make it look crowded, with very few sunbeds or areas to sit. The pool bar was unfortunately not included in the happy Hour deal, (although this was not made clear on arrival) which was disappointing as the ground floor Lancaster Bar, which had the deal, was very formal and did not have the views that you want to enjoy when having a tea time tipple. Consequently, it looked as though very few customers took up the offer. The hotel did recognise our special occasion in our room in a very nice way, which was appreciated, however, in other respects we found the hotel very formal and more geared to business customers than leisure tourists. We did have an excellent experience with a young female intern we spoke to ( we didn’t get her name) who gave us great options for things to do and how to get around during our very short stay which was more than we were able to get from reception. We were able to walk to a great night market at Jodds Fair nearby but otherwise there appeared to be very few options for restaurants or bars in the vicinity and is surrounded by very busy main roads on all sides. We got the nearby canal boat to Pratunam for shopping which was great and would probably recommend this means of transport as a way to get around Bangkok from this hotel, if you’re feeling adventurous.

This is not a 5* hotel. The visit did not start well, on arrival the concierge took my bag and abandoned it in the lobby for me to find. At reception there were 7 staff behind the desk but no one said hello until I asked to check in, after a lengthy session on the reservations system I was advised that my room wasn’t ready and that I should just wait. (I was not early). No apology offered just an excuse that the rooms are only “cleaned one at a time”. I was left to wander the lobby after a very long international flight, I was somewhat miffed. Eventually someone handed me a keycard and told me where the lifts were, that was it. The room was a good size and 10 years ago would have been considered very good, unfortunately my room needed reconditioning. Photos attached. Great location for Makkasan and the highway but not a hotel I would use again.

I stayed in the premium suite for 1 week. The hotel collected me and checked me in smoothly with no delay. The staff are friendly, polite, outgoing and helpful. I do not speak Thai but all the staff speak English so we never had a communication problem. The lobby looks amazing, I went up to my floor in a glass elevator which looks great for instagram. My room was amazing, it was clean tidy, and looked practically brand new. The hotel maid realised what time she could go in my room without disturbing my sleep without me even telling her. She always serviced my room and it felt like I was being very looked after. I enjoyed the roof pool and roof bar. The bartender remembered me and I always kept my drinks fresh and remembered what I like to drink. The conceirge and reception were a fountain on knowledge and helped me find the best places to eat and shop. The hotel wifi was excellent I never lost connection. I loved having the jacuzzi bath in my suite as after a long day I could relax in it. The bedding, towels and toileteries were always fresh. The hotel also had 24/7 in room dining and the food was amazing Will I go there again? Yes without question. The hotel is exactly as advertised. The breakfast was also a great start to the day.

Just wanted to share my awesome experience staying at the Lancaster Hotel in Bangkok for a week with my family. In short - it was amazing! The staff were so cool, especially at reception. They kindly upgraded us to a more spacious and comfortable accommodation when we had a tiny issue with our first room. Oh, I want to give a special shoutout to Mong, one of the staff members at the hotel! Super friendly and helpful with tips on how to get around in the city. Made our stay even more awesome! And don't even get me started on the breakfast – so good! Every morning was a feast. Plus, they've got this nice rooftop pool with a city view. We made some great memories there. Overall, I can't recommend the Lancaster Hotel enough. It's got everything you need for a great family stay in Bangkok – great service, delicious breakfast, and awesome vibes.

This is my 5th time staying here for business trip in the past one year. It’s just like my second home in Bangkok. The room is specious, clean , and the bed is way to comfortable :) The front desk is very welcoming and helpful, thanks to k’Guy and team that provided seamless check in process and warm welcoming when arrival. The stuff at breakfast restaurants are also great, the manager even remember that I always take cappuccino every morning. Also, I’d like to admire the egg station lady chief that the egg white omelette and Thai style omelette are so tasty 😋 The rooftop pool is also great with the sunshine One of the best choice to stay when visiting Bangkok. :)

The hotel is really nice and spacious and the rooms are new and clean. Great check in experience thanks to Mink,Jee and Jenny. The hotel is really nice and worth every penny. The food from room service is delicious. The gym is modern, large and high tech. My only advice would be to allow us to connect device to TV as the channels are really not good.
