We stayed in a one bedroom deluxe room which was quite spacious. As per other reviewers' comments, the breakfast is quite basic and you have to complete a form everyday with your request, but after having a full buffet breakfast everyday in Phuket the previous week, this was a good change for me and my husband. The location is excellent!...

Stay at the 1 bedroom deluxe with both my wife and girl for 4 nights. Excellent services upon check in to check out from the receptionist, security guard (doorman) to the chambermaids. Kudos to them for making my family having a great and satisfactory stay. The room was nicely layout with a fully furnish kictchenette. A nice touch from the...

The appartment hotel has spacious and well maintained rooms with very good access to the public transport so that all sightseeing, shopping or entertainment activities can be easily planned. As a big plus the rooms have separate kitchens, living rooms and bedrooms so you will have plenty of space in the appartment. On the same hand you can benefit from...

We were in Bangkok for New Years 2014 celebration, and a friend suggested this place due to its location, and I thanked him for it. The location is so strategic, away from city crowd, but still in the city. Food vendors are within a stone throw away, restaurants are just within 5 minutes walk, and its a short distance to...

Away from the busy crowd of a normal hotel, Saladaeng Colonade is much more personal, making it one of my favorite hotels in Bangkok. And if you like having that much privacy as well, this would be a perfect hotel for you. Each apartment is built with a factional kitchen, fridge, micro wave, oven, iron, hot pot for making tea,...

Everything I need while in Bangkok on business or travelling for pleasure. It is conveniently located but none of the busy-ness of Silom. There are quite a number of similar hotel apartments such as this in Bangkok. What makes this one my favourite is the no frills, practically equipped place that makes me feel as though I am coming home....

Very no frills hotel. Breakfast was OK (very basic), staff were nice, gym was limited. Rooms quiet well sized. The main problem was the cigarette smoke from adjoining rooms. We had a non-smoking room, but next door had a smoker. The smell came through the air conditioner in the main bedroom. The location is fantastic.

I like to stay in Silom sala daeng area because it's very convenient you have night market gay bars and all kinds of shows at night. And the great street food on convent road. But it's hard to find a decent apt to stay if you need a spacious room. This apt is a little bit old but it's well...

Stayed at the 2-bedroom. I find the 1-bedroom more roomy than the 2-bedroom. TV in the master bedroom still old type. Air-con in living room noisy. Location great. Cleanliness great. Pricing good. Facilities decent. Quiet. Private. Good staff. Breakfast very basic. Need to give each guest a breakfast request slip not 1 to be shared as indicated on it. Overall,...

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
