My family and I stayed here on two separate occasions while in Thailand. This is a great budget accommodation located in the heart of Bangkok. The Sky Train and metro are just a five minute walk from the hotel. Vendors line the streets selling Thai food, but if you prefer to sit down to eat there are plenty of great...

Very clean and reasonably priced. Great central location in the city. A little hard to find at first but is off a safe side street. The lady who worked here was the absolute best. Spoke great English and was extremely helpful. She advised us of great places to go and gave awesome directions and tips. Would definitely stay here again.

Within 5 min walking distance from Saladaeng which is one of the best places to stay if you are visiting Bangkok. The owner is absolutely awesome and will go to any length to help you out and make your visit to Thailand very comfortable and efficient.

Great little guest house which is about a 10 min walk to either Silom or Saladaeng stations. We got one of the standard double rooms which had all we could ask for... tv, good ac, comfy bed, private bathroom and decent shower. The premesis is small but cosy and in a quite street so no street noise at all. Very...

We stayed here for a few nights while in bangkok. It was a bit hard to find for us but it was dark when we got off the train and we were a bit jetlagged. Upon arrival I was annoyed they didn't accept credit card because we had budgeted our cash to the tee but it like most guest houses...

I stayed here while attending course at Le cordon bleu. It is merely a 5 mins walk from the hotel to the school. The location is so convenient that you could get everything within walking distance. This is basically a no frills three star hotel for the price of a hostel accommodation. Great value for money, close to public transport, large room, friendly service. The only negative is that it can be hard to locate as it is off a side street, but should be ok with the help of Google map search.

This lovely hostel was just what we needed during our stay in Silom. Central location nearby to the Canadian embassy for visa arrangements and walking distance to nightlife and several attractions. The hostel was very clean, and provided all you could ask for, including comfy bed, full-length mirror, mini fridge. Overall, the owner was so wonderful and helpful. We stayed...

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
