While it is no frill (because of the pricing we paid), its room are clean and bright, service is good and their staff can even speak mandarin (not just english)!!!! Lastly, still find its location far - in....for those who hated walking (esp after tiring shopping in bangkok) this may not be your best option...however it s centrally located among... More

We choose this hotel mostly because of the location and price. Nice place, but need renovation a lot. For breakfast they serve sandwiches, cookies and bananas. Also they have coffe machine at the first floor.

The rooms are small, but clean. The beds are not the best (very hard and feels a bit old). I had no problem sleeping but my friend had. The breakfast consists of coffee, white bread tuna sandwich and maybe a banana. However, the benefits are strong: 1. Great location. 2. Very friendly and helpful staff. 3. Seemingly a good security.... More

The rooms are very spacious by Bangkok standards and the hotel is in a great location - within a few minutes walking distance of the Sala Daeng BTS and Silom MRT stations. The staff are very helpful and friendly and it was a pleasure to stay here.

This hotel is in a brilliant location, less than 5 minutes to walk to sky train and metro stations! The area is also quiet at night, located in a smaller street a few minutes off a busy road. Nearby there are plenty of restaurants to eat, as well as lots of street food! Staff spoke good English, were friendly and... More

I have been to Bangkok a couple of times and I previously stayed in another hotel in Saladaeng. However, since I was travelling with another 2 friends, it was harder to find a hotel for trio in that area with reasonable price. A friend of mine recommended this place. The Inn Saladaeng is situated at a small alley right from... More

Pretty standard for a mid-range hotel in SE Asia – small, clean, air conditioned rooms. This hotel gains a star for its location – in a great area for street food – but loses one for staff that were a little less helpful than at other places we stayed (though they were still friendly).

I've been to Bangkok so many times, usually 2/3 times a year for some shopping and then flying to other locations with Air Asia. I have been to various Luxury and 4 star hotels from Sofitel to Pullman, Tawana, Ambassador, Grand Sukhumvit and so on. I only chose this one for nightlife/shopping compromise and because we were a party of... More

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
