We didn't want to pay a lot for a hotel in Bangkok as we were only staying for 2 nights. However the service and quality was more than we expected for the price. There are plenty of cheaper room options around but this was a decent price for a mid-range hotel. The reception staff were extremely helpful booking taxis and...

Very well located. 2 min away from Silom Rd. You can reach this hotel easily from the airport. Take the Airport Link train and stop at Makkasan, from there take the Metro and stop at Silom. Very easy and cheap. Check in went fast. They are very kind. Two complementary bottles of water per day. There is a big fridge...

several people recommended this place in BANGKOK. It is clean, people helpful, handy to lots of things, and the food is excellent. Breakfast incl. with room is good with lots of variety. Rooms are nice size, beds comfy. No beautiful views from window on 4th floor.

The Inn Saladaeng is so well-located for all the places along Silom, as well as for the Sky-train and Metro if you are going elsewhere in Bangkok. They are very laid back and friendly. Snacks and free drinks are available in the lobby 24 hours a day. The rooms are clean and the beds very comfortable. Two free bottles of...

Very small musty room with old, broken amenities (desk, TV). Noisy hallways and paper thin walls made sleep difficult. Cockroaches in the bathroom made the visit unpleasant. Location is convenient, however, the rest of the stay was miserable. This is not a hotel that would be suitable for families.

I arrived here as a walk-in late in the evening and stayed for 2 nights. All in all, I was happy with every aspect of the stay, and did not encounter any issues described by previous reviewers. If the hotel has had problems in past months, it appears to me that they have been addressed. Reception staff were invariably friendly...

Rooms though spacious enough feel smaller due to low ceiling. Modern furnishing and nice cozy clean rooms are great. One can hear a little bit traffic noise from the adjacent street. The staff is very nice and helpfull. Wifi was always very fast. Free sandwiches and drinks for breakfast. 5 minutes walk from The Canadian embassy.

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
