Over the last ten years I have stayed at Savanabhumi Airport Hotels on at least 50 different occasions..... I have tried many of the cheaper transit hotels and when I am on my own I now usually stay at The Thong Ta. If I am with my partner I stay at a slightly more expensive but much better hotel nearby......

This is a older hotel. The rooms are clean and the room size is good. They have a restaurant next door. They have lots of guest coming in day and night. Short way to the airport. You can arrange for airport pickup and airport transfer. If you walk down the long walkway about 5 min to the main road. Turn...

We stayed overnight due to our late arrival of our flight. Rather than find the main hostel in the night, this was a quick option. Surprisingly the hotel provides a free pick up & return from the airport. This arrangement fitted welll. Excellent size twin bed room it's en-suite. Exceptionally clean throughout. Basic breakfast served and inclusive in price. Good...

The check in process was fast and the room is big. However, our first room's aircon does not work well. Wife call front desk but received a rude response from front desk, because we had no idea which building our room is. We had never been told. Furthermore, nobody come up to check the aircon until we call twice more,...

The water began to drip from the air conditioner after 10 minutes of using it. The crane in the sink was not fixed and rotated. What you wanted...

For the price you can't complain much. Good: free airport pick up and drop off. Fast Internet. Bad: no elevator, The place the renovation, paint touch up, bed sheets and towels need to be replace. And should you need to check rooms air-conditioning make noises and Showerhead broken.

We (2 female friends) paid around AU $45 for a twin room which was clean and what we expected for the price. Free semi-reliable wifi provided. Breakfast was a set menu - some pineapple, a fried egg, 2 pieces of toast, a sausage and a sliced processed meat. You also get water, fruit drink and choice of a coffee or...

I have stayed at Thong Ta resort before and found it to be pleasant, however this hotel seems to have declined in it's service and overall quality, I ended up leaving half way through my schedule stay and moved to another hotel
