Location is great -just off Koasan Rd. Room was also clean and decent. Sleep however is very difficult as the nightlife of Koasan Rd is omnipresent.. Hearing music and people till around 4am.. If your after party and nightlife and prefer spending nights out on the streets, it's the place for you! :) Lots of rules and regulations, which also... More

Older hotel but rooms are neat and tidy. Near Akhao San Rd and Chao Phraya River Tourist Boats. Very good value for your money. Nearby are cheap restaurants and Tuk Tuks to get you where you want to travel to.

this hotel has changed a lot since our last visit. gone is the small alley way that gave you access. it has been replaced by a large and lively bar. the rest of the hotel does not appear to have been referbed. it is still a little oasis of calm in the madness that is the khosan road area. staff... We have seen a lovely room on booking for 38 € per night. Because it was our last day traveling we thought it's not that expensive as the foto was shown. Well i was wrong. I rent it for two night. The first time you enter the room you can smell the moist and no clear air. Because the room... More

Very good hotel close to high live. Not noisy but many attractions in walking distance. Love the art and the decoration! Even they have a pool in the backyard. Restaurant is clean and friendly staff. Food in my view could be prepared better.

Me and a friend arrived at Villa Cha Cha in the night after a long flight, we entered through the front and it looked lovely, the pool was to the left and was surrounded with statues and other Thai pieces. Check-in was nice and easy and we were presented with a refreshing mango drink too! Not to waste any time... More

I stayed here years ago when it first opened and loved it. The property needs a new set of eyes to come in and refresh the place as it has gone way down the drain. It looks tired. The rooms smell. Feels like checking into a prison with all the rules and regulations. Aircon takes 1 1/2 hours to cool... More

This hotel is actually very good. Beds are great, location is even better. We had a room in building 2 with a view to building 1 = no view, but therefore no noise from the street and we all slept like babies. And it even has a nice, small pool. You can have a late checkout at 50%, they can... More

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
