Great hotel in a great location. We have stayed here 3 times now. Great hotel, great location and great staff. Really liked the breakfast. My only gripe with this hotel is charging for wifi? You get 3hrs complementary and then your charged. It just doesn't add up to me for a hotel of this standard where everything is pretty fantastic...

The service is excellent! Everybody speaks english fluently and is well informed about sightseeing points. Modern rooms with a nice view over Bangkok and delicious chocolate on the pillow. Free wifi access!

Had a great time staying with a couple of friends. No issues during the stay but do find charging for internet in your room not acceptable these days. Is it a necessity not luxury and very few try to charge for it. Breakfast was great although odd you get an SPG discount at restaurant except for breakfast. Surely it should...

We come and stay in this hotel on a year basis since it first open in 2008 and it always is a great with their service and location wise, but find it start to wear as time goes by. Especially those stains on the carpet and wall paper. Please keep up with the maintenance otherwise it will start flowing out...

Everything is fine here. The warm greetings and welcoming smile on staff, the facilities, the clean environment, and etc... Only one thing needs to be improved is receptionists' training on basic things. I checked in on April 11 staying for 4 days and a lady receptionist provided the check-in service to me. As a Gold member reserved the room via...

Dear Mr.Ma, Thank you very much for sharing your recent experience with us. I am delighted to learn that you enjoyed overall stay. However, please accept my sincere apology for all the shortfalls you have encountered with the check-in process. When booking this hotel I didn’t realise it was in "main action" of the city, so it is very busy with foot traffic and busy streets all at your door step. Despite this the rooms were very modern and relaxing. Just my style. I did not receive an upgraded room as a Platinum member but that was beyond their control...

The rooms are big, spacious, and well-appointed. Bed was incredibly comfy. Nice touches including chocolate on the pillow and nice selection of room coffee and tea. The pool was good, but lounge chair space was pretty limited and it was challenging getting one. I was most impressed by the breakfast buffet - amazing selection of of food and great quality,...

Dear Reviewer, Thank you very much for staying and sharing your experience with us. Happy to read that you enjoyed our signature breakfast. However, I am concerned to read that the service experience you had during breakfast was certainly an exception to the norm and far from what we strive for. I will be sure to relay your sentiments to...

The location of this hotel is quite convenient, 2 convenience stores, lots bars and restaurants, even a night market around the hotel so you can get what you want within walking distance. The design of the hotel is nice, appreciate the small details of this hotel. We arrived early around 12:30pm, the room was ready for us once we arrived,...

Was able to snag a room for about $110 USD on my trip to Bangkok. As an SPG Platinum, I got upgraded to a suite for my entire stay. Additionally, Plats get free breakfast, and the breakfast at this property is one of the best I have ever been offered at a Starwood property. Highly recommended. Only downside is that...

I can't resist to write a review after experiencing this great hotel. To start with, being a SPG platinum member, this is not my first time staying in this hotel. Upon my arrival at 2.00pm, I found that my room is not ready during that time, understand that they are running full during Songkran, and being a plat member. I...

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
