Everything about this hotel is wonderful! Upon our check-in, late in the evening, we were informed that we were upgraded to a suite. What wonderful news this was! The 17th floor suite was spacious, with a living room area with a TV, a dining area with kitchen - fridge, stove, microwave, and washer/dryer (detergent included! and there is a retractable clothes line in the bathroom for non-dryer items), very spacious bathroom with a shower and full tub, and a bedroom with a TV, iron, robes, and slippers - and ample closet space!
At check-in we were told that the mini bar was free, and I remembered from my last stay (8 years ago) that there are complementary beverages in the lobby starting at 7 am - it was wonderful to start our day off with cappuccino!
The hotel is situated in a great area - very central to the BTS station and close to many main areas (Central World, Siam Square, Lumpini Park) but removed enough to be separated from all of the noise and traffic of Bangkok - you actually almost feel like you are in another world! There are 7-11 stores close by. Breakfast was not included in our room rate, but having previously partaken of the huge breakfast spread, we paid the 550 Baht per person on one morning. There is a western side of dishes and a side with Asian dishes. I informed one of the staff that I am celiac and she told me what I could not eat - and in fact, came back from the kitchen with a loaf of gluten free bread and asked me how many slices I wanted - what great customer service! I cannot wait to return to this hotel!

We enjoyed our 6-day stay at this beautifully appointed hotel. Our room with a kitchenette on the 19th floor had a good view and was very comfortable. Unique to his hotel was the in-room washer/dryer.
I also enjoyed having a traditional wall clock in the room so I didn't have to find my phone to see what time it was. The room had many drawers while the bathroom had lots of shelf space for toiletries. The pool, gym, reading room, and the game room were maintained well. The daily free coffee and tea in the mornings were enjoyed by many in the grand lobby.
The only suggestion I have for management would be to provide a wall-mounted dispenser for shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner so as not to have to use small plastic bottles which are not good for the environment.
This hotel is also close to CentralWorld with many great eateries such as Nara Thai Cuisine. The nearby Pratunam Market is where we got the best deals on clothing. I got good quality T-shirts and pants for 3-6 USD. You can ask for a better price if you bought 3 items (considered bulk pricing) from the same vendor.
The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. To have such a clean and large room in a centrally located hotel made our Bangkok visit more enjoyable.

I'm pretty sure that this hotel used to have its glory days in the past. However, it is now in serious need of a big renovation. The hotel rooms were tired, dim-lighted, and had "old smells". The services (especially the check-in process) were super slow and did not follow consistent procedures for all rooms. For example, we booked three rooms, but one room did not get the hand soap, and another did not get bath gels. There were washer-dryers inside the rooms, however using one almost caused an accident of burning clothes inside. Breakfast buffets if not included in the rooms, were not worth the money with limited dishes and slow refilling of empty stations. However, if you are looking for a central-location hotel with a good price, you can still choose this one as it's within walking distance of Central World.

The hotel is very clean. The staffs are very accommodating and know how to speak in English. The lobby is spacious and can accommodate a lot of guests.
I booked the Grand Deluxe Double or Twin Room.
The room is very tidy and huge. It has a couch by the window.
The room has kitchen where you can cook and you can borrow the cookware from the hotel. It has microwave over and a regular sized refrigerator. Ir has an automatic washing machine. It has a dining table that can fit 4persons.
The room has a Smart TV. It has a desk and a cabinet with safe. It has its own flat iron and ironing board.
The bathroom is spacious. It has a bathtub which I really love! The shower has a separate cubicle in the bathroom. It has hot and cold water. The bathroom has a lot of drawers so you can keep your things and keep the room tidy. The room has hair dryer as well.
The housekeeping is polite and they will ask you everyday if you want your room made up. You may refuse or you may ask them to do so. When requested, you may ask to change your sheets. They change my towels and bathrobe whenever they made up my room.
The location of the hotel is at the city center and, as a solo traveller, it helps me roam around Bangkok easily. The nearest metro/train station is about 7-10 mins walk from the hotel. The hotel is located in a quiet area and safe community.
It was a great experience! I would love to be back. ☺️

This recent stay during Songkran 2024 was great! Prior to this, 6 months ago, I had a great experience at this hotel that’s why I booked here again - April 2024!
Stayed here during Songkran and I knew how busy hotels were during this period.
I commend the staff for their tireless efforts especially the check in counters. I am grateful that the staff were full force even if it is Songkran. Truly appreciative of the Thai Hospitality.
I thought im gonna be stuck during check in, but lo and behold, I was served in a reasonable amount of time. Didnt stand in the queue for too long.
I also appreciate housekeeping staff, who is very proactive when it comes to asking if we want our rooms cleaned everytime we see them at the lobby. Or if we just requested for towels and the like.
I also appreciate the concierge team for helping with the luggages. I saw that there are lots of luggage compared my stay last October and they managed it well.
I also appreciate that they had given me the room that I requested for. I usually stayed in room with last 2 digits -10. Its a corner suite and view of golf course is amazing.
I am glad to be staying in this hotel as it is just a 2 min walk from Ratchadamri Train station.
Overall, im satisfied with my stay here. Will definitely stay here again! Well recommended!

This is a spectacular property, close to a large shopping center but far enough away that its not noisy. The facility has a beautiful pool, fitness and a spa that provided great thai massages. The staff were always friendly and the rooms are large, comfortable and had a lovely view of the city. I really appreciated the washer/dryer in the room as the humid temperature of Thailand had us making multiple clothing changes throughout the day. This is a wonderful hotel and I would highly recommend a stay here.

This was our second time staying at the Grande Centre Point Ratchadamri, our first back in 2012, which was, gosh, 10 years ago! Over the years, we wanted to go back to this place, but somehow, they always priced themselves above their competitors, so we gave it a miss each time we visited Bangkok. This year, however, the hotel offered rates which were reasonable, and, notably, lower than our regular Bangkok hotel at nearby Siam Square. A pleasant surprise indeed.
If you are taking the BTS, you may opt to get down from either the Chit Lom or Ratchadamri stations. The walk to the hotel from each station is short, and you have my assurance, you won't break any sweat at all. Just like 10 years back, the one thing that will immediately catch your eye will be the massive high-ceiling lobby that conveys a feeling of space and grandeur. Perhaps its the festive season, or because of the competitive rates, the hotel lobby was packed with guests and their families waiting to check-in. Fortunately, the staff were very good with their work, so we did not have to wait long before our turn. We were pleased that our room was ready for occupation, so we headed there once we got our keys.
We booked the Grand Suite, and everything looked the same as what we had a decade before, which is not a bad thing. We had a kitchenette, washing machine, full sized fridge and a dining table. The improvement we saw was that the toilet bowl is now a bidet, which is not bad. Perhaps the only thing which I wished the hotel could do better was the tap system. Just like 10 years ago, we had the same problem trying to get the right water temperature. It was either very hot, or very cold, but nothing in between.
The gym and swimming pool are located on floor "F" (whatever that means), with a manned towel counter. The gym equipment are well maintained, and I was pleased that each treadmill came with its own tv. You can burn your calories and watch your preferred channel at your own pleasure. Now you don't get that even at some of the better gyms in S'pore!
Breakfast was served at floor "M", the floor just above the lobby. Due to the building design, the breakfast area is divided into two main sections and a connecting walkway. If you are into the standard breakfast items like bread, pastries, eggs and sausages, then you will need to go further inside. The area just past the service counter at the entrance serves items such as pad thai, dim sum, sushi, fried rice etc. Breakfast is available from 6.30 am to about 10.30am, and the hotel has posted notices informing guests what times are the best. From our observation, the crowd starts building up from 8.30am onwards, and only dissipates close to 10.00am. We had our breakfast at 8.00am every morning, and we were done by 9.00am, and on the way out, we saw that the line to enter stretched from the entrance to the back of the hall. So, you have been warned.
All in, this was a good stay at the Ratchadamri. Our family had a great time reminiscing the good time we had 10 years ago. I'm pleased to say that the great memories are still being made, even after so long.

Our group of 5 adults stayed in a 2-bedroom executive suite (with an extra bed). It was very spacious, with a nice living room where we could hang out, and gave a nice view over a golf course. There were free snacks and bottled water in the room which were refilled each day. Service was prompt and location was perfect - just a 10-minute walk to CentralWorld and a Big C supermarket.

My third time staying here for work and travel and a great stay again. The check in was much faster than last time and I had requested the same room as my previous stay and the request was on the system and I was very happy to get the same room as my previous stays overlooking the golf course and Bangkok Sky Line.
The room was great and comfy beds and the daily service was great. I had to work in the room for a few days and kept the do not disturb during the day and I only left the room at night and was great to see the room serviced even at night time. Only comment on the room was that hot water takes a long while to come through the shower and felt like wasting water each time it was left open for the water to heat up.
The breakfast gets super busy after 8 AM and there is even a long line waiting to get it which was not very nice when you had to be at work at a certain time. I actually skipped the breakfast on two days due to the lines and as it was too busy. This time they had split the breakfast on two sides which felt like a hassle as you had to walk a long distance to get something. It would have been lot better if they offer the breakfast in two locations and utilize the ground floor restaurant for certain floors and the M floor for certain floors guests instead of a long line in the morning and food spread over two areas.
Pool was great but they do close at 8 PM which is very early and it’s a shame as most days I would finish late and its already closed. At most Bangkok hotels the pool is open till 10 Pm on even later and given the warm and nice weather in Bangkok they should keep it open bit longer.
The room service was tasty, quick, great value for money and they would accommodate special dietary restrictions which was not on the standard menu which was fantastic.
Overall another great stay and would stay here again during my next visit to Bangkok.
