I've been in this part of Bangkok for over 3 years now, and respect to the other reviewers, but my wife and I have found the hotel to be of a fair standard but the standard of overall cleanliness in the room, particularly the bathroom was bad. The staff to have a very lax attitude to their clients. The receptionist,Miss...

I have repeatedly found Salil both pleasant and comfortable during my stays. Having returned several times, the simplicity, the ease, and the fantastic location comes second to the staff. Clean, cute, kind, and quiet. Hot water, air conditioning, amenities are all basic as expected. Salil has those and more. Having traveled the world twice, I have found pampering pompous hotels...

Cheap and the location is great. We stayed here a few years back, and I think the quality had deteriorated. The staff were friendly, but spoke poor english. The rom smelled of mould (room 23, not recommended), and the bathroom had a lot of mould behind the sink and in the shower. Everything seemed kind of worn compared to last...

I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights in March 2012 with my sister and we were very impressed! The hotel is located down the road from the Nana BTS skytrain and the hotel will drive you down the road in their golfcart if you like. The rooms were very nice and clean. They have everything you need- hot shower,...

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
