We needed a clean hotel for a one night stay in Bangkok to get ready to travel to Kanchanaburi the day after. Salil Soi 8 is perfectly located in the busy Nana area, in a very quite side street. The check in was smooth (although I was a little bet irritated for the front office requesting my credit card despite...

I have stayed many times at the Salil Soi 8, Highly recommended! A Nice quiet hotel at the bottom of the Soi with very friendly staff. A standby chauffeur with Ferrari to drop you off at the combat Zone on request. The Thai Green Curry is one of the best in town J.C UK

I stayed with my partner at the Salil hotel for 3 nights. The hotel is centrally located with friendly staff and good quality food. The only disappointment we had was with the duty manager at the hotel. We upgraded our room to the Deluxe room from a superior one and upon arrival at the hotel we were told that we...

We had the possibility to spend 3 days in Bangkok at the Hotel and we have bene very surprised of the level of quality. Despite the fact our flight was late, the pick up service (2.30 am) was available. Position is very good, few minutes to the train station. Our room was clean, nice and the bed very confortable. Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
