The hotel is located centrally, a 10 minute walk to both Taipei Main Station and Ximending. My only grouse is that there is no fridge in the singles' room, and improvements can be done to the sound proofing. Overall I enjoyed my stay.

Stayed in the Chairman Hotel for 1 night. The hotel is quite old but rooms and toilets are maintained cleanly. Beds quite hard though. Location is good as it is near Ximending and the Kuokang bus station. Many shops around as well. Breakfast is complimentary - simple; mainly congee, toast and mantou All in all was a pleasant stay given...

Staff polite, friendly and helpful. Room was small and dated. Sun rose at 5:30 and the curtains let light flood in ,luckily I was jet lagged and couldn't care. Hotel is a 5-8 minute walk from Taipei main train station. And around the corner from ximen.

My family (3 person) stayed at 3rd floor in triple bedroom for 4 nights. This hotel is a decent hotel near Taipei Main Station. Room and bathroom were clean, equipped with soap, shampoo, razor, tootbrush with toothpaste, towel and hand towel. They provided porridge and various delicious condiment for free breakfast. If you don't like to eat porridge, many convenient...

I stay there last weekend (5/3/2016 to 7/3/2016). It is just about ten minutes walk from Taipei train station, and only seven minutes from the airport bus station. I stayed in a room with double bed, the room was about eighty meters, not much facility inside. The overall impression to me was not clean enough, especially the towel and the...

I had traveled to Taipei with a couple of girlfriends. We had booked a triple room and we were shocked to see how tiny it was! It had now windows at all and was really dingy. They moved us up to a family suite on our request, which had a 2x2 feet glass opening for the sake of a window....

Hotel is aging and could do with some refurbishment but the beds are big, the showers hot, and the air-conditioning cool. Ask for a room facing the street for more light. Windows are double glazed thus no disturbance by street noise. The front reception was extremely helpful with a good command of English. Cleaning lady noted that I had a...

The hotel is located just opposite Ximending, and it just takes 5 minutes to cross over to Ximending. There is a 7-11 convenience store located just next to the hotel. The hotel is a little dated but the necessary amenities and toiletries are there. The breakfast serves Chinese food, i.e. Taiwanese porridge with cooked dishes, and bread with some jam....
