The dated decoration with dark wood and purple red scheme is gone, the new clean look is nice, but the superior double I booked through agoda no longer has a tub as shown in old pics there. Spacious room, big bed. Staff friendly, helpful. Very convenient location, right next to metro station where blue one and orange line meet, and...

I stayed here for 4 nights on my business trip. Although the hotel’s building looked old, the room I was provided was modern. I admit that it smelled slightly moldy, but it was not at unbearable level (in addition, this often happens to hotels of this class in Taiwan and Hong Kong). The room (on the 11th floor) had a...

I was looking for a hotel to stay a few hours after arriving Taipei after midnight. This place is not too far and fits into my budget. Overall, it is a decent hotel. It is small but very clean. An MRT (subway) station entrance is right next to the side door. The people are friendly. I have to give them...

We need to find a place to stay for a few hours since we arrived in Taiwan after midnight. The location is great. The room is small, but clean and modern. We have 7 people bringing 10 pieces of luggages with us. We were heading to Hualien the next day for two nights. The hotel staff accommodated us by allowing...

Wonderful location - as many others have stated. Breakfast - just right for the price. Room décor/size/look&feel - just right for the price. Staff - curtious and helpful. The bathroom fixtures are a bit dated but still perfectly functional. IMHO, no need to spend big $$$ for a total renovation. Simply re-caulk the tub/sink and around the doors to get...

If you are looking for an average home stay hostel, you might want to consider this KDM hotel as it is a no frills hotel, for sleeping at night and having a simple breakfast in the morning before moving off to explore the city. This is my 2nd visit to Taipei and 2nd time staying at this hotel. I would...

Stayed 2 nights in rooms on 15th floor. The location is the best thing this hotel has to offer. Just right next to the station of the blue line and just a couple of stops away from the Central Station giving easy access to anywhere. Staff was friendly and helpful. However, the rooms are just too small. Not much space...

Starting by the positive, staff is welcoming, location is extremely convenient (just outside Zhongxiao Xinsheng MRT station, itself 2 stations away from Taipei Main Station, and right next to Evergreen bus stop from/to the airport) and overall experience is not bad. The hotel is currently in the middle of renovations, however the "upgrade" left us perplexed as to the lack...

Stayed here for 3 nights with my wife and twin 3 year old boys. Check in went fine and check in girl had some English but my wife is Taiwanese so most questions were addressed to her. We got a room on the top 16th floor which happens to be one of the floors with renovated rooms. First impression was...

My wife and I stayed here for 5 days while in town for a wedding. We stayed on the top floor which had just been renovated. We found the room to be very comfortable and the bed was quite so. The lower floors were really out of date in terms of decor, and a bit tacky, but they seem to...
