I find with Sheraton hotels they are a little hit and miss, my room was a little old and small with a dated bathroom. It certainly isn't the most modern hotel but the service is good and the club floor offers a great selection of food and drinks. The gym is a little small but offers all the equipment you...

Dear MarkCharnley, We appreciate you taking the time to review our hotel. We regret to hear that the room and gym did not meet your expectations during your visit in October. Your comments have been shared with the management team for future improvements. Sheraton Grande Taipei has been around for 30 years and it is the first five star hotel...

The Sheraton Grande is on Zhongxiao East Road, very close to the Taipei Train Station. The surrounding area is not like the trendy City Hall & Taipei 101 area, but it's convenient, and there's a Metro station in front of the hotel. This hotel is very large, and it has two wings with separate elevators. The rooms are large, clean,...

We are delighted to have you as our guest here, and we are happy that you noticed the small touches we made in the hotel regarding culture and art display. You are absolutely correct. I spent four nights in this hotel for a work trip to Taipei. I was in one of the 'Executive' rooms which have their own dedicated floor and I assume are a bit larger than the standard rooms. It was large and very comfortable, with a huge bathroom. The free wi-fi worked very well and the room service was excellent....

Dear climate_criminal, Thank you for the wonderful feedback that you have provided. We are delighted that you enjoyed your room and the Sheraton Club Lounge buffet. The Sheraton Club Lounge was under renovation early this year. Aside from hardware upgrades, new menus and food items have been created to provide more variety. You will be able to see the brand...

Although the Sheraton is not in the trendiest part of Taipei, it is in a surprisingly fun location, and very convenient (just a short walk to the Taipei HSR station. The neighborhood across the street from Taipei Station is vibrant with lots of great food stalls, and the hotel is also just a five-minute walk from the Huashan Culture Park,...

Hotel is conveniently located and within walking distance to restaurants and the main train station (which is nice for getting away from the property). I've stayed here a few times and it always seems like there is a big convention going on - the hotel lobby is often full of very large groups of tourists and/or conference attendees (and I...

Dear Ispitsen, Welcome back to Sheraton Grande Taipei. We appreciate your loyalty and understanding. The hotel can be busy at times as many conventions and events are held at our hotel, not only because of our prime location, but we are also the only hotel in Taipei where trucks can drive directly into the banquet center and unload equipment. I booked this hotel as having never stayed here previously and looked forward to trying another Sheraton Grande as my experience with the Grande's is that they really are what the name implies, Grande! This was probably 1 of the best hotels in Taipei before the W and le Meridien appeared.
