We spent more than 7 nights here and enjoyed are stay. The rooms are a little outdated and the bathroom was as small as a 19 Century Russian jail, but both were spotlessly clean. We felt the hotel was slightly over priced as we have stayed in better hotels around India and Nepal for half the price, however free airport...

I spent a total of seven nights, dispersed over three individual stays, at Hotel Ganesh Himal and found the rooms to be comfortable and clean. The staff were initially formal, however I found them to be warm after a number of interactions. The hotel itself is located in Chetrapati, which is just outside of Thamel (approximately 5 minutes walk to...

We had a total of 6 nights at the Ganesh Himal hotel recently and it was a very pleasant experience indeed. The staff are very friendly and pleasant, the food is good and reasonably priced (try the trekkers breakfast!) with ample portions. Meals can be served in the garden if need be. Local papers are provided and the free airport...

Pleasant place to stay, for just some days as well as for a longer period. Kind Nepali Buddhist people, modest and honest, always ready to serve without loosing their dignity. Close to everything in the centre of Kathmandu, but just out of reach of the noise of it. Very reasonable price-quality-ratio.

This place ticks all the boxes. The experience starts at the front gate with a salute and namaste from the always happy Ram. Once inside, welcoming drinks arrive while the room is prepared and if you like there is a bank of computers for emails etc plus a water dispenser. The rooms are large and clean with plenty of hot...

We stayed here for 5 nights and cannot fault it. The reception team were friendly and welcoming, there is a lovely garden with dining area to eat or just relax and the room was cleaned properly every day. There is free internet access and wifi, and the staff can help you arrange excursions/taxis if you need. The hotel is in...

STAY HERE. The quality of service at this hotel ranks a resounding 5 stars for me. In addition to all of the reasons others have stated in their reviews, I would say the best part for me was the staff. My friend and I used this hotel as our home base while in Nepal. We stayed for a total of...
