We had a great stay in this wonderful hotel, the building is amazing, in nepalese style. The rooms are large and beautiful, the garden is very quiet and nice. The location just near Thamel is perfect to do some shopping and enjoy bars at night.

Beautiful historical place in a quiet street in busy Thamel Eco friendly, nice garden and surroundings Breakfast is fine rooms with courtyard view are not that bright... prefer the ones on the other side (still quiet) still a bit expensive for Nepal

We stayed on a first floor room as my mother has trouble with stairs. Room was large with Windows/ window seat over looking the gardens. Think it was just a standard room (101). Was a bit dark at the back but that was more... More

Just email the hotel. I think they charge USD10, although I don't think they actually ended up putting it on my bill. I agree that the prepaid taxi range will probably be slightly cheaper and as easy.
