We stayed in this Hotel before. Actually for many years, but only now they have converted the front rooms into accomodation. These room are on HYATT standard and faces the Boudha Stupa. For me the one place you want to be when visiting. The staff is always at hand and friendly. The breakfast is served on the newly decorated terrace...

This simple and small Hotel is situated right on the holy shrine of Boudhanath. Renovation works will be terminated soon. Although some of the rooms are quite dark in winter, the location is extremely attractive. During full season, a Restaurant is joined to the offer.

Hotel Padma is fine -- clean enough, nice staff, and located in front of the stupa. You walk out and there it is. The hotel not at all fancy -- it's sufficiently clean, it's plain, it's inexpensive and if you just want a reasonable place to stay by the stupa, this is it.

Staff was friendly and helpful. There's a great view of the Stupa from the terrace restaurant. There was a view of neighbors' laundry from our room. It was fun to stay in the Stupa area at night and see it without all the tourists. The room didn't seem particularly clean, not uncommon in Nepal, and we had a cockroach visitor.

right in front of the stupa, this hotel was much more quiet, convenient, and clean than Happy Valley Guesthouse. real hot water at anytime of the day, a television in some rooms, and restaurant on the roof terrace. the food was excellent, although a little more expensive and less varied than other surrounding restaurants, but well worth the price considering...

This hotel is fairly basic. neither really clean nor extremely unclean. It is Ok, safe, and pretty quiet. The restaurant is fairly crappy, and there is not any real service to speak of, so if you can take care of your own needs, and need something cheap, it is fine. the location right at the stupa is the attraction really....

Boudha(-nath) is in our opinion definitely the best place to stay in Kathmandu. Relaxed, friendly and quiet compared with the city itself. The Padma is the best quality hotel we had in Boudha. Maybe a little overpriced and touristy/impersonal to our taste. Nice rooftop restaurant, directly opposite the stupa. Nice clean room, very nice bathroom with sufficient hot water, daily room...

This hotel is inside the Bodnath plaza, you can see the world's largest stupa right outside the window. It's clean, comfortable, convinient, and safe. The maid cleans the room everyday. There is security guarding the hotel entrance all night. The rate is about $32 a night for a queen size bed, western style breakfast included. Service is excellent, you can...

This is a hotel one doesn't forget easily. It is located right in front of Kathmandu's most amzing place, Bodnath, where pilgrims go from early morning to late in the evening. The hotel is modern, clean, and reasonably well equipped, and is run by friendly Nepalis of Tibetan descent. The city centre is some 10 minutes by taxi - expect...
