I stayed at the Soultee 3 nights as part of a guided trek in the Everest region. We were supposed to stay 4 nights (2 before the trek, 2 after) but we got stuck in Lukla thanks to poor weather. I had been to Kathmandu 25 years ago and stayed at what was then considered one of the best hotels (the Malla) - but was surprised at the poor water and electricity outages there back then. I was very glad to find that the Soultee was definitely up to par - good water (although we were told to only drink bottled) and great electricity/internet. The hotel provided extensive glass-bottled water and was doing an excellent job recycling glass and not adding to the extensive plastic problem. The rooms were very nice and very quiet, all looking out onto this huge private courtyard/gardens that were very well maintained (the hotel sits on 12 high-security acres and there are many other buildings - like a full spa and casino). The beds were very comfortable and I enjoyed great nights of sleep. The breakfast was extremely good - I especially liked the many different lassi drinks and yogurt, the fruit drinks, the bakery items, and the Indian fare (e.g. pakoras, ginger chutney, and masala/chai tea).

I had gone to the Soaltee Hotel for family wedding the venue is perfectly set with a sun facing room and exquisite banquet. The hotel knows its hospitality standards we well. The hotel is rated amongst the best 5 star rating and the array of restaurants which can be found is incredible. If you feel like rejuvenating there is a spa and fitness center and a pool. Such an amazing time you all will have and the staff are really friendly.

We stayed at the Soaltee Kathmandu – impeccably managed by Mr Avinash Deshmukh - from the end of January until early February 2025 to watch the women’s cricket at Kirtipur stadium. Being frequent travellers I can say that this is one of the best experiences of our lifetime and highly recommended. Staff is super friendly and alert. Obviously eating out in the city is cheaper, but we highly recommend the Chinese restaurant Bao Xuan (opposite the reception desk) which we visited twice, as well as the delights of the northern Indian cuisine at Kakori – only a short walk towards the swimming pool. The gym, massage salon, jacuzzi etcetera are also well-equipped and impeccably maintained. Breakfast buffet is a feast. Should there be more cricket events in the future, there is no doubt that we will return to this amazing oasis of peace and quiet.

I was on a official visit to Kathmandu and it was my first visit too in Nepal, I stayed at The Soaltee Kathmandu from 08th to 12th March 2022. As I was on a short visit and lot of works to complete, I left with no option but enjoying my hotel stay. This hotel was recommended by my host in Nepal as the best hotel in town. The location of the hotel is so peaceful it’s just a few meters away from the buzy roads, the old red stone buildings,swimming pool with a fountain and the vast green garden areas are stunning, I enjoyed my morning coffee with this amazing view from my room 436. Staff from housekeeping,security, reception and all the Restsurant staff are exceptionally good and very attentive. The gym facilities at tranquility spa building gives a best view during the workout, jacuzzi and sauna steam rooms at first floor need little more attention.
It is worth to mention the service of F&B Supervisor Ms.Anu Napit she always been so polite with her warm welcoming personality and always on toe for assist her guests with all the possible manner and also the other restaurant staff equally helpful. Housekeeping lady Ms.Ganga too so helpful always greets and never failed to ask is everything ok in your room? need anything else ?Breakfast buffet is another best you can get at Soaltee, lots of food varieties and fruits and the taste is so good.
In my opinion the success of Soaltee is no wonder but it’s staff the best asset it has, Overall my stay with Soaltee was given me some best memories for that I really wanted to thank all the staff at Soaltee and it’s management, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Kathmandu who want to rest in a calm and quite atmosphere.

This is actually a review for the restaurant downstairs (the one with the buffet breakfast). The breakfast was AMAZING!! (and it really deserves the capital letters). A lot of options, and the staff was so helpful and genuine, whenever the plate got empty, they cleaned it immediately, and whenever you wanted something, they provided for you. It was .... yeah, it was AMAZING! So good, that I wanted to check the dinner service. I asked for a ginger tea with honey and lemon, and I think it was juat a made up drink of mine, because the staff looked confused (I guess was not in the menu, but in my demanding head). I was surprised when the lady reconfirmed with me, and she got me a ginger tea with honey. I really want to convey my regards to Shriya, who made the impossible be possible for me. Oh, the food was good as well :))

The moment you arrive at the main entrance of this hotel, a genuine hospitality is felt, right from the security staff to any manager you interact with.
At the main entrance you get a prompt baggage assistance, A seamless and quick checkin process The rooms are high plush with quality room amenities, They also have various dining options in the hotel, you may dine at their multi cuisine or specialty restaurant, the food and the service is very impressive, The housekeeping staff takes no time to meet any additional requests.
At every touch point the hotel staff will amaze you.
It was also my birthday when I was checking out, I was absolutely amazed by the surprise cake organised by the front office team. I’d like to thank the entire team who made it for me. It will remain as a beautiful memory with me for a long time.

So i happened to visit for work the said hotel and i cannot stop to admire how beautiful the property is and how humble the staff is. Upon arriving all staff-Bell boy, Valet, Housekeeping to guest relations welcome you with a warm smile and humble Namaste. You will experience this as many times as you come across them. The great ambience is followed by impeccable in - room dining. All the food served is authentic to taste and served keeping all the hygiene measures in mind. There is always a lot of movement of guests as the hotel do host functions/meetings however, it wouldn't bother one in any way other than the pretty decorations you might see around. Hotel has a wonderful spa on site offering Reflexology and Ayurvedic massages that would be very easy on your pocket. There is a souvenir shop too on site and couple of em outside the main gate of the hotel towards the left. Despite the fact the hotel has so much to offer it is very affordable and would make a great place to stay for work or leisure with family, friends or for an individual. A trip worth splurging in. I would like to extend special thanks to guest relations staff- Ms. Anjali and Mr. Ramesh Silwal who made our stay worthwhile with their absolute immaculate hospitality ethics. Choose Soaltee without any doubts for a nice and comfortable stay.

The staff was very friendly and accommodative. Most spoke excellent English. The breakfast buffet is marvelous, it has so many different varieties of food, all of which were delicious. It accommodated both western and eastern tastes.
Our room was spacious and very clean. The TV had both eastern and western programs. There was a safe, a refrigerator, bathrobes and slippers. The one downside was the temperature of our room seemed to be under central control. We were a bit cold, so we requested a space heater and they happily supplied us with one.
This was probably the best hotel on our three week trip through Tibet, Nepal, and Bhutan.

I was in the Soaltee for 4 days and had a great experience. The staff were very sweet and helpful. They made sure I was not at all in any stress or discomfort throughout my stay. They location is very lovely and tasteful, the gym was excellent as well with a multitude of equipment for both cardio and weightlifting (no barbell tho). The food throughout the location was fantastic. We went to the garden terrace restaurant a multitude of times throughout our stay and were always greeted and taken care of extensively. Mr Dharmendra is the manager of the restaurant and made our visit to their restaurant all the more better with excellent and personal service sandwiched with amazing recommendations for us to try. The food was finger licking and I would highly recommend it. Will definitely be making a second trip sometime soon
