Rooms weren't amazing and needed a little TLC. But we did see painters reprinting some rooms to remove the black mould. Staff didn't really interact but they were always available to answer questions. Location is great for bars and restaurants also surrounded by trekking shops for buying hear for your journey

I stayed there in December of 2014 and there was nothing good about this hotel. There was electricity problem, hot water problems and rooms were also not clean. Stay away from this hotel if you don't want to ruin your holidays.

The price of Hotel Elite is really the kicker for staying here. At 750 rs a night for a double room with a private bathroom + free wifi, there's not quite a lot you can ask for. They do an adequate job cleaning, but as is common for budget accommodation in Asia, the faucets just kind of always leak, but...

Simple room as always in Thamel. Shower head is broken and had only warm water. Toilet did not flush and there was no water in the morning. The normal issue of having no power is acceptable but not water! They had no fan in room so it can be stuffy. Luckily it was only a one night stay.

Beware - We booked another hotel, but were accommodated in the Elite. We could not get to the bottom of why this occurred. Various contradictory explanations were given. It was claimed that the other hotel was undergoing renovations. Then it was claimed that the booking was incorrectly made. The latter is clearly not true I received an automatic request to...

We got a double room for 550 NPR/night w/bathroom. However, the toilet didn't flush, the sink didn't work, the room smelled like smoke and the pillows were worthless. They also offer travel services but the person in charge was ripping people off with no problem. Not worth trusting. The people behind the desk were helpful though. Be careful what you...

This hotel is just horrible. There is no other way to describe it. I arrived and asked for the price of a room. The staff member said $6. So I went up to look at the rooms. One didn't have a functioning light globe in the bathroom. The workers replaced it though. The toilet in this room didn't flush as...
